I am so devastated play the tears won't stop coming, I thought I would have done well as I do weekly because of all that surrounded me and how I took my dinner out with me to southend, etc, I never cheated once, did not forget to drink the water, I am truly devastated and can't stop crying0

Aww Victory, I really feel for you. You know this has only happened because you have done so well! People would kill for your current BMI so the fact you are still sticking with it shows true charecter and determination. I know you will lose weight next time. Other factors to consider are is it near TOTM because that can make a huge difference. Also the time of day you weigh in at and whether or not (sorry to the sensitive types) you have been to the loo! All the water is great for the metabalism and skin but it weighs heavy.
Big hugs to you. You are still heading in the right direction0 -
Honey ,Thanks for the syn value on the mullers , I will be eating less of the layer ones if they are 1.5 syn and continue with the original mullers.
Ive only been back on the slimming world method (from home) for the past 6 days, cos I cant afford club prices.
So far this is my method which I think suits me really well.........
Up to 5pm I make sure that I eat only free foods, for example
A green breakfast: muller yogurt and banana
mid morning: Apple & plum.
Lunch: Homemade tomato & Lentil soup & egg and pasta salad.
Afternoon snack: Muller .
then for evening dinner: syn free chips & quorn burger or sausage, with 2 x bread (B) + (B).
Then a dessert (10 syns) and possibly a (A) choice too.
I drink water and diet drinks in the day and have one coffee in the evening,
also I have treated myself to a new excersize dvd, its the vivky entwistle one off corry, and I have been doing this dvd daily for 50 mins.
Havent weighed myself yet cos Im too afraid it hasnt worked.Kindness costs nothing0 -

Thanks play not sure it has happened because I have done so well:rotfl: I have had a word with myself and I know I cannot drop any food and given up caffeine and only drink water so will have to up the excercise on good arthirtic days and wait.....:D
I weigh every tue morning at boots, same time, same clothes and it is not TOTM and always go to the loo beforehand:D
I know the direction is the right one but I am hyper ventilating as I go on my hols in 13 weeks and always knew I would make it and now I am not so sure the last 9 lb will shift so quickly and fast as the previous lot has....
I am going to have to draw even more determination from somewhere, not sure where else I can get it from:eek:0 -
Vic, have pm'd you0

Oh victory Please don't cry - have a hug from me ((((()))))))
It was a loss, regardless of how much - you did nothing wrong. You have lost weight in big amounts week after week so it was bound to slow down. Have a look at half a pound of butter or sugar - its still a big amount - picture it stuck to your tummy/bum/hips. I know how you are feeling though - I've been the same in the past myself - its gutting to see the scales after the effort you have put it. But after the news I have had today about my SW buddy I think you should stop crying, shake yourself down and get back to the Victory we all know and love. This is going to be blunt so be warned (please take it in the way in which it is meant)
I'm quite sure my SW friend would have rather lost 1/2 pound this week than be lying in the mortuary - so come on, we know you have done so very very well, we all love you and need you back inspiring and motivating us the way you do.0 -
Or just highlight it then copy and paste then add your name
:rotfl: that's far simpler, why didn't i think of that :doh:I am going to have to draw even more determination from somewhere, not sure where else I can get it from:eek:

i don't think anyone will take this the wrong way, maybe you are the one needing the hugs today though :grouphug:
it's a warning for all of us that life is short & we should make to most of it, i'm off to :kisses3: OH & :grouphug: DD
have a good day everyone, take care

Huggles Victory
Just keep going as you are & it will all come well.
If you only had 1/2 lb to loose you would be estatic you had reached your target.

Honey, I didn't see your brother proposing, but I wish I had, it would have made my day seeing something so romantic! Had an amazing time, thank you, and the visit to Niagara Falls was wonderful. BUT, it's all over now and back to the grindstone (I'm back at work this afternoon).
I'm so sorry about your friend, that's dreadful news!
Victory, please don't be sad at the slowing of your weight loss, it really is inevitable at this stage.
As you get nearer to your target weight, your body needs less than you've been feeding it over the last months, just to get you around. One way of starting the weight loss again is to cut your intake, but do be careful not to cut it too far or it will be self-defeating, with the body hanging grimly on to any calories in case you're planning to starve it.
I can't remember if you're doing SW or not, but if you are, I advise my members to cut their syns down to about 5 a day for the last push.
The anger and sadness you feel is often felt by members who consistently lose every week, but you have to remember that lots of members actually stick to the plan just as honestly as you have and simply don't lose weight like you've done, though they've tried just as hard.
What I'm trying to say is that although you've put in lots of hard work, there has also been an element of luck in your weight loss so far, which has meant you losing large amounts week after week. This is really quite unusual (though it happened to me too) but you have to be prepared for it to slow down towards the end.
Consider what you've already lost and how different you look and feel. The rest will come off if you stick with it, but it could take a while longer than you would like.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
