Yay end of the week for me tomorrow. Feeling a bit better today, managed to fly through todays list, just have the vacuuming to do which I'll do in one go tomorrow (couldn't do that while watching tv).
Carried over jobs
3. Check fire/smoke alarms, make sure they work and if required change battery - Need to check the ones upstairs but I can't reach them !!
4. Vacuum throughout inc up the stairs, but take a cloth with you
3. Vacuum floor inc under bed if possible - not a chance to get under the bed, must tackle that as a hot spot next week
3. Vacuum floor - Landing
One extra for the day - Make any important calls you've been putting off
Study (if you have one)
[STRIKE]1. Clean PC inc monitor, keyboard and mouse
2. Dust anywhere that needs it[/STRIKE]

Well, all the flying I was planning on doing this evening didn't happen.
I got called that my mother was taken to hospital after falling down and broken her hip!
I am a 2 hour drive away from her, and my sister is a flight away from her, so we spent all evening calling backwards and forwards trying to figure out what's going on, and trying to talk to our mother.
She's going into surgery tomorrow.. we'll know more then..
so my house is a mess, and another busy day coming up tomorrow..
I am by now  from 2 bottles of wine I polished off with DH.. (well me more then him) and going to bed.

Today just didn't happen...the bedding was only changed as I stripped the bed before I left for work this morning
I'm flagging a bit TBH... not in my enthusiasm but purely because I'm so tired. Late nights on here, flyladying, being uuuuber busy at work and as a result of a couple of long weeks, now agrueing with DH too has taken it's toll. I want to try and play catch up tomorrow. Oh, that and ACTUALLY get up when my alarm goes off an hour early so I can do stuff before I go to bed is also a good idea

i've just got in from a 2.5 hour meeting, which was a continuation of one from 3 weeks ago. should only have been half as long but was not thansk to poor chairing:mad:
thanks michelle, wasn't easy today, but her husband has just started a new job and so he couldn't go with her. pigpen is right, these things do work them out. i'm trying to start thinking in life that if its not something i can do anything about i will try not to worry / get angry about it (i said i'm trying...)

I thought it was going to be kids bedrooms, and almost decided not to look, pleased I did now LOL
I was out all day yesterday, so only did master bedroom quickly, but like you all say it will come round again.
The bathrooms should not take long, the study will, it needs a big sort out.
Hope your mum feels better soon BeccaAlways on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Good Morning all :hello:
I was actually up and about and downstairs by 7am this morning. For the first time in a week I slept right through the night and I feel sooo much better. Plus my back is much better this morning as well, I still feel like someone is pushing a fist into my ribs just below my shoulderblade, but it's now only when I do something I shouldn't (and for a little while afterwards) like carry the 4 pints of milk in my left hand or pick up the bottle of cordial out of cupboard above the extractor fan with my left hand.I'm fine if I do it with my right :rotfl:
Anyways I'm having one of those morning with DamnD  Shes been cheeky beyond belief, singing silly made up songs, moaning constantly since OH left for work and just being stupid as in I have to tell her how to do everything. We're talking along the lines of "We haven't run out of toiletroll, there is a packet full behind the door", "Move the bin and you can get another toiletroll out" "Well move the doll then as well!" :wall: I think she's just seeing how far she can push me today and it's not far  She was fine, if a little pathetic, until OH left.:mad:
Right, so far I have made the beds and put last nights clean dishes away (OH just leaves them in the drainer as he can never manage to put stuff away in the right place..bless him :rotfl: ). Everything is out ready to leave for school and the Bolognese base mix (mince, onions & lentils) is out of the freezer since I forgot last night  There's not many dishes to do (:j) but I have got "George" to clean, the teapot needs emptying and washing out (smelling funky) and there's the crockpot & seive the OH used last night to sort out the chicken stock for me so I can use the slowcooker today to make bolognese  Oh fun! Infact the whole place is actually surprisingly together except that it needs hoovering & dusting
Just looked at the weather report and since the forcast has changed from "light rain" to "50% max chance of showers until 4pm", I'm even going to do at least one wash load and get it out on the line
Okay off to kick DD's backside into gear :mad:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Well, my week is getting better and better...
NOT!!
Busy as anything all week.
Yesterday mother broke hip
emergency getting-the-kids-taken-care-off as the school decided to give them a day off.. and I have a dentist app. and work today.
neighbour came round just now... "Do you know how to get in touch with animal rescue? There's a dead cat lying by the road." (I used to work on the animal rescue team...) so I go to see. It turns out to be our cat!
We'd not seen him a few days but that's normal for him to wonder off this time of year...
sigh..
I'm off...
I'll start flying again next week... had it for now..
