Blooming weather report. BBC says our postcode has sunny intervals - is that between the raindrops??? Has been raining/drizzling most of the day. Gives sunny intervals again tomorrow - so big question - do i strip beds now or wait and see what weather is like tomorrow???0
-
We have 'sunny intervals' too.. been grey and gloomy all day.. not a speck of sunshine to be seen!! I'd wait while the morning and see how it fairs.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

No flying for me today.
Work and now at home it's time to get a wriggle on with tea and then DH and I are off out for the evening.
Will catch up tomorrow will all tasks that haven't been done as it's my day off.
Sending lots of hugs to those who need one today....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Yesterday was a no go for flying, stripped the bed first thing and apart from managing to finish my dailies yesterday evening nothing else was done.
Today has been better, bathroom cleaned, study can wait until next week, WM has been on three times with one more load waiting, TD twice, evening meal sorted. I have started to pack for the weekend, girls bits all looked out most of mine in the wash and waiting to be ironed OH can sort himself out tomorrow - it's all washed just not sure what he's wanting to take. Will aim to catch up with whats left in the ironing tonight.
Nicki - I have two girls 8 & 4 and they both have attitude, younger one especially i think she quietly sits and listens to the bigger one and saves what she hears for another time - very frustrating:mad:
Becca & Mumoftwo - thinking of you both hope everything has gone okay today with your mums op:grouphug:0 -
Thanks you all, for thinking of us.
The op. went well so the doctor told me. I'm driving up there tomorrow to visit with mother.
Thank you for caring.

Evening all!
Becca, glad it sounds like you're Mum's gonna be ok.
Pigpen - you're shameless........but I like you!:D
Had a bit of a strange day, felt like I did nothing in particular but still didn't get my lunch till 3.45pm............ My littlies have got chicken pox so have just rung the out-laws to check whether they've had it before they come for the weekend. They both have......... so back to cleaning like a lunatic ready for their arrival tomorrow for the weekend:rolleyes: As I'm kind and they're old we put them in the main bedroom which has an en-suite so as it was the bathroom today that's what I did - twice. The family bathroom was cleaned and the en-suite was scrubbed and scrubbed - I even had an old toothbrush out trying in vain to remove the limescale that appears all the time around the base of the shower doors.

I'm off to sew name labels in all of dd's new school dresses. Had to get some new ones, she's 4.5yrs and has had to have age 6 dresses - she's like a bean pole. Perhaps she'll be a supermodel and keep me in my old age........:rotfl:
See you all tomorrow....... (or would that be today for Denise?) xx"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
Hi everyone, lists up! For those with littlies off school from today ignore the uniforms bit of course. Ours don't break up until tomorrow.
What a manic day, school fayre to organise and sort, been busy with it for all but an hour of the day, evening youth club for one, other was poorly, then swimming and tea just got 5 mins to sit down and check emails etc. Have done the bathroom but one PC area will have to go on my catch up list (can let me off as I have 3 to do!) Rained all day here too so no chance in getting washing dry.
Becca (& mumoftwo), pleased to hear your Mam is ok, have a safe journey Becca, send our best wishes for a speedy recovery of course.
TNG - AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL IS ME!!! Now get off that run way and get flying!! (PS well done with what you have done)
One day I might be more organised...........
