Good thinking batman, this would certainly save a lot of posts and time but.........this is a technical question, aren't the only people who could insert the faq, the op or the MSE team ?
The op may not have ability, (I am not insulting the op by the way). The MSE team may not have the inclination, it has taken a couple of years to make a very informative thread on this forum a sticky.0 -
Some things can only go on so long as everybody turns a blind eye. A moderated FAQ on MSE would be a bit too undeniable and could only result in the gaming being stopped."It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0

Job done today. My last fifth current account has been added the 4% interest. I called this number 0800 015 4000. Told the advisor the account number which I wanted to add the 4%. Got transferred to another department. This advisor was very cheerful, she asked which account I wanted to add the 4%, I gave her the account number. She said "oh, you got 5 Vantage accounts, 4 accounts with the 4% on, how could you manage to get that? Cause it is only allowed to have 3 accounts with the 4%". I told her that I opened those 5 Vantage accounts many years ago. And I wanted to add the 4% on this account which was xxxxxx. She then said "yes, I can do that for you." Very surprisingly....then yes, all done.0

I have no idea how I could manage....the advisor said I couldn't have 4, but on the other hand she was going to add the 5?! Well, I shouldn't complain about it....
I did move all the other accounts balance down to £3000 before I made the call, with only two accounts have balance more than £5000. But I doubt that it will have any effect on it.0 -

The account I requested it to go on had £1 in it, no DD's and didn't have 1k a month going into it. He pointed out that it didn't have 1k a month going into it and I said that it could have. Then he said it didn't have 2 DD's set up on it and to call back when it did. I told him they weren't mandatory until 31 Oct and he went off to speak to someone. Came back and said you have 10 accounts and should only have 3. I decided to end it there as even leaving the other 7 accounts at 3% might be attractive given current rates on easy access accounts.0 -
Wait, you all have like 5 of the same account types with the same bank???? Is that allowed? Surely you can't keep getting a new customer bonus and you already hold other accounts?
What is the major benefit of doing this?Debtfree!0 -
