I can confirm paypal allows you to set up a second account for DD... (But only once the first account has been verified) in doing my 2nd one, I got asked my paypal security questions...so make sure you know those before you do it, you can see (and change) the security questions in the 'profile' tab.

Who knows, once the second account is verified they may allow a third DD - but I doubt it.

They will, you can have several linked bank accounts to your paypal account. You could do them all at once if the last 4 digits of your bank account are not the same.

Ok I just checked again, on my paypal which has had the first account verified last week, I was able to apply for another tonight, and the add account link is still there, so I could add a third account now it would seem...is this true if I add a third account now (tomorrow) it won't confuse matters and will be allowed to be processed?

but on my OH paypal, I just added the first account to OH vantage a couple of days ago and I cannot add anymore accounts until the first has been verified.

As I understand, one paypal can have many bank accounts, but any bank account can only link to one paypal.

Can aynone confirm if paypal counts as one of the direct debits? Even if money is not regularly debited from it?

If I can just add a paypal DD, it'll probably be easier than opening a Tesco account.

Hi all

I have two Vantage accounts (waiting for my third to be opened) and want to link them all to one Tesco savings account and one PayPal account to create the requisite DDs.

I have given both PayPal and Tesco the bank details of each account and instructed them to set up DD links.

I'm assuming I need to wait for PayPal to confirm my accounts via their deposits method before the DDs will be listed on Lloyds Online Banking?

With Tesco, do I need to transfer any money to complete the creation of the DDs? They are not showing on my Lloyds Online Banking yet.

Have searched the threads but can't find the answers to my specific questions above.

DDs always take a few days to show up in the bank accounts. Your Paypal question has definitely been covered in the thread, and might even find he answer in Paypal Help.

I reckon we are now rapidly approaching the date by which people will very likely miss the 31st Oct deadline for the 2 DDs. Probably another week or so - I have seen some outfits quoting they need 8 working days to process an initial DD instruction. Anything in the pipeline already should definitely appear ok before the 31st.

With regard the Tesco DDs, you don't need to transfer any money to complete the setup and they'll take a couple of working days to show up online with Lloyds.
