A new kid on the block. The same old powers (ie. none).
Hello, PS&P.
We look forward to making sure as few victims as possible pay you anything.
PS. And to reporting you to the OFT, the minute you step over the line. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Thanks guys!
Anyhoo, thought it might help to post the back of the letter as well."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS MATTER, AS IT WON'T JUST GO AWAY
Perhaps you'd like a little bet on that?Je Suis Cecil.0 -
I got the same letter today after many months of silence from cpp. I noticed the signs have changed saying they will pursue the owner rather than driver. I know they were pushing for owner resposibility but not aware of any change. Happy to scan all my documents from the onset and post.0

There's a change coming in on Oct 1st, can't believe they've put signs up already, get some pics of those!!
It still won't get around the fact that the charges represent unenforceable penalties and that they cannot even establish a contract in the first place (with the driver OR registered keeper) if they don't own the land (or hold sufficient landowner rights).

"What will/can happen if I refuse to pay?
Your continued failure to acknowledge our requests for payment could result in your account being passed to our Doorstep Recovery division, which will result in you receiving a visit from one of our national Doorstep Field Collectors"
Seems like they are trying to pass the debt to someone whom will come around to your house to "discuss" options, trying to pretend to be bailiffs.0 -
"... could result ...".
Can you recover a doorstep or collect a doorstep in a field for a "non-debt"?The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

Well, if they turn up on my doorstep, I'm afraid I will not be giving them any fields for their collection. Sorry.Je Suis Cecil.0
