I have a combination of eczema, acne and rosacea, mainly on the t zone. What works for one condition doesn't work so well for the others, which is a pain. I find my nose to be the worst lately. It gets very dry and sore to the point that the skin sometimes breaks and bleeds. This happens even when I use really rich moisturiser/night cream.

    Any tips anyone?

Hsve you tried Moa The Green balm its an all rounder great for everything.

No, I hadn't heard of it but will consider giving it a try. Only problem is that it's only the 3rd and I'm already considering buying toiletries :o. However, it's not really unnecessary and it is more medical than luxury so I wouldn't need to feel too guilty!

I'm going to Rhodes on 25th August. Not sure how the sun/heat will affect my skin. Sometimes it improves it, sometimes it makes it worse - I really hope it's the former especially as I'm going to a wedding while I'm there and don't want to look as though I'm blushing even more than the bride !

Ems - 35 used ups in a month is great! :j As long as your UU beats the number of INs you're winning :rotfl: I hope you have a good August with as many no spend days as possible. It sounds like you have some lovely events coming up

Thank you Wil, I'm quite happy with the UU, its the IN I want to reduce down - in fairness a lot of those were due to the fab REN deal so aren't full size and when I go away next month I hope to have mega UU! :D

The best of luck with your No Spend Month xx

I have been meaning to ask you for ages, where do you get this from? I think either Green Balm or Heal Gel ought to be added to the portable first aid box (home, camping holidays etc).

    http://www.thegreenbalm.com/

I did a quick google. Think you can buy it elsewhere as well, possibly cheaper.

I got my first sample from in the first Lux box in May and loved it. you can buy direct from thegreenbalm.com for £9.99 for 50ml or £4.99 for 15ml free delivery when you spend over £5, but I got mine from feelqunique where its £9 and £4.50, they also had a code for 10% off skincare last week which worked on this, plus quidco. Think you can also get it off Amazon.

I'm sure you'll do great I'm planning on a no spend month, (just Amarya box) and possibly some freebies.

Ok I'm going to do a no spend too! I honestly am aiming for that. I will buy that polish since I've been wanting it since I saw the promo pics many months ago, but other than that, here's to my NO SPEND:beer:

Was at the hospital again today (and on Monday and tomoro!) mum has got a date for her main op - 21st of the month. So at least we now have a 'plan of attack' and can begin to move forward. I koow it's gonna be a lonh haul, but in a strange way it will be good to actually feel like we are getting somewhere.

Hope everyone has a good weekend !

Good luck with everything and keep your head up ;)

    Morning all,

I have a quick question and was wondering if anyone can help. After reading the article yesterday about the cruelty free leaping bunny I checked my products at home to see which carried the symbol. I was surprised to see it on some of them which I wouldn't have thought had it and not others. My main surprise was that it wasn't on Body Shop products which I thought was a cruelty free company - can anyone shine a light on this for me?

1 UU today - Palmolive Soft and Gentle roll on, the red one. Love the smell of this one so WBA.

Good luck no spenders, I didn't quite manage it last month but will try for a minimal spend month this time.

Have a uu - 100ml Tressemme conditioner, can't remember which one as the label had peeled off, was lovely though, it was DD's but I used the last bit just to get shut of it.

Am having to go on the M62 today, I have been trying to avoid it due to the miles and miles of roadworks (where no work seems to take place), there is no hard shoulder and all the lanes are narrowed down and last week a lorry tipped up onto a car and two people died, this happened near where I have to join it. Wish me luck.
