Most of the time it is not the kids fault when they go on a bender - it is their parents who need to control them.
Not disputing that !
But if you want to avoid this problem, best not fly anywhere, ever again then ?0 -
Outside of Europe I find the kids are MUCH better behaved (generally) on budget/low cost airlines than on full fare airlines - not so spoilt I guess.0

As I alluded to in an earlier post, flying is a mode of public transport and there is always the likelihood of being in close proximity to a child and you just have to hope for the best.
That said, you can sometimes move your seat on a bus or train or even get off - although those options don't exist on a full flight however.0 -
i have seen more grown ups a pain to be honest on aircraft, going to the tiolet every 5 minutes stepping over you as you sit on the next to aisle seat and they are on the window seat because the amount of beer they have drunk , at least kids tend not to snore on long haul
i also enjoy watching someone getting annoyed with a kid in front or behind them by whatever meens , good entertainment !! passes the time0 -

Have you had your seat kicked for several hours and the wimpy parent says "I don't think you should do that, it might annoy the lady in front." then lets them carry on. (Yes I have asked nicely for them to stop)
Turn around and say quietly, calmly and politely
"IF YOU DO THAT ONE MORE TIME I'LL THROW YOU OUT OF THE ***** WINDOW"0 -
LOL Bob the Saver. I have resorted to STOP IT NOW on occasion TBH0

Handy Hint #334
Wearing the right clothes helps, the parents just move them to an empty seat at the other end of the plane.
