Some good points there, I absolutely hate air travel.... the smelly person sitting squeezed in beside you..... the large person in front who keeps their chair fully back for the whole flight leaving you with numb legs..... the person behind you who keeps kicking back of your chair....... the FARTERS and BURPERS yuck yuck...... noisy eaters....... drunken idiots........ maybe a social etiquette class for flyers before the flight might help...... most people now do not have any manners apart from bad ones :( rant over lol

I've never been on a flight where children have been that bad, a little excited maybe, however, I have been on flights where the flight crew have had to have words with adults about their rowdiness and foul language.
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world

hahaha! This is hilarious! Is there a way we could drop our kids off at an airport creche and collect them 2 weeks later? If so, I am in complete agreement :-)

In all seriousness, I would rather listen to a screaming child than drunk idiots shouting and swearing or 'flirting' with the airhostess!

Problem is parents expect to take a toddler onto a plane for 4 hours plus and expect them to sit there like saints. We either try and time our flight around our children ie. this year we have a 7 o'clock so he can have the initial excitement but will then fall asleep. I also take drinks, snacks and colouring stuff with me.
TBH i would never worry about my child acting up on a plane but I think a child that does its because they are like that.
My nieces and nephews ranging from 2 to 8 are terrible on a flight - shouting, crying, moaning etc.... but they are like that on the ground too!!

Now, just watch me eat my words when my son has a full blown tantrum on our flight - I will come back to complain you jinxed me!!!!

more than a few adults should be banned if kids are gonna be banned. on my last long haul (8 hours) I had no problem with the kids on it but around 6 adults stood right behind my seat and chatted for most of the journey
not terrible but I was trying to sleep. its hard enough sleeping next to the bulkhead without a mans meeting going on behind.:)
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

Never had a problem with kids on flights to be honest although in fairness I don't usually travel in school hols. On one flight from Singapore a baby screamed all the way home then promptly fell asleep when we landed. Nothing we could do about it and nobody was about to get shirty as the child was obviously in distress.

The last flight I was on the only obnoxious person was the bloke in front who complained he couldn't get his tray down properly (that's cos your stomach's too !!!!!!! big mate) and whinged at the girl in front for reclining. All it would have taken is a polite request to her to have her seat upright but he chose to be rude instead. He was actually whinging to cabin staff also who told him that the lady had every right to recline, just as he did.

The $64.000 question is whether there is enough of a market/profit in doing adult only planes.

I suspect not so it won't happen.

IMO, some children are irritating but then again so are some adults.

Chill or get some noise excluding headphones.

When I flew home from Scotland in January I had a boy about 8 screaming the entire flight about how we were all going to die, the plane was going to crash & he wanted to get off.

This start before we even got on the flight. If my kid was in that much distress I wouldn't have got on the plane. I would have found another way home.

He got himself so worked up screaming and crying he starte to throw up. I felt so bad for him but his parents just didn't seem to care. When he was sick the mum shouted at him :(

Although some pay on entry lounges do not allow children, it is a brave airline that would bar children from J class, altough Malaysian have banned children from certain sections of their First cabins and upper decks of their 380's I believe.

For an airline that do a lot of bucket and spade routes, it could be an issue where a lot of families use them however, I suspect the passenger profile flying Malaysian's premium cabins may be somewhat different from a Virgin Flight to Las Vegas from Gatwick for example.

Those who have experienced that route will know what I mean.
