Hurry!! for the bathroom finely being started.
Sorry not been on much, I'v got a mixture of paid and gift knitting on the go at the mo, and also been whittle-arsing over OH, but I can put that behind me now, all his heart test have come back as OK.*phew*
Hope the cold goes quick and try adding honey to any drink's you have, it help's sooth the throat, although I make OH squirm when I have a soar throat, I do Gran's old recipe of butter, sugar and vinigar and have a teaspoon every hour:o
Sorry I missed reply to this last nightGreat news about OH's heart tests coming up clear and it's good to be busy hun, you keep knitting
I keep forgetting to have my honey and hot water and whisky but did have some last night before bed and I did get to sleep better. It's the Manuka honey I had got in for Alan, and it is quite 'herby' and nice. I certainly couldn't use your Gran's remedy

Hiya Taxi - how are things with you hun?
Well, I had a good sleep last night but couldn't believe it when the alarm went off  Still, I again just managed to get washed and dressed before the workman came and he is now starting on the tiling. He really gets stuck in working, even turning down a cup of coffee before he starts. New toilet and washbasin have just been delivered, but they forgot the toilet seat. However they had a better quality one on the van so they gave him that instead at same cost. I asked if it was an all-singing all-dancing soft close heated loo seat .................. but, alas, just a normal better quality one :rotfl: :rotfl:
Off to take the doggies out for a walk now I've had my breakfast, in case it rains laterMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I will admit Gran's recipe sound's descusting, but it does work and it is something I'v grow up with so I'm use to it.
Good stuff that Manuka honey,as long as you remember to take it, and Gran liked whisky as well, but she use to have it with hot milk last thing at night to 'help' her sleep.
Well the paid knitting has gone to the people who asked for it and I left it up to them to decide what they wanted to pay 'cause the money is going to the Epilepsy Socity, after all I just want something to do with my hand's 'cause I'm doing well on the diet at the mo, but I'm finding the advert's for all the crisp's and sweet's is setting off a 'nibble' response in me, but if I'm knitting I find it help's me to ignore the ad's.
So will you have a working loo at the end of today?£71.93/ £180.000 -

Yes, the new loo and basin are both fitted and working - not that I have tested them yet myselfWorkman is currently doing the tiling now :j
I just got confirmation from the Pet Rescue that we raised funds for and can confirm that a total of £835 was raised in Alan's memory from the collection, cheques through funeral directors, and direct donations through Ravenswood website, and including my personal donation on behalf of Alan :j They have asked me to thank everyone. It has come at a very good time as they currently have a £3000 vet's bill   Alan would be so proud:T :T :T :T :T
