Anyway, Afternoon guys
I stayed up to watch the Presidential election last night hoping Obama would win, so I am glad he did :j :j
Then had a really good sleep, not getting up until just before 2pm, but mainly just taking it easy today, just doing a bit of washing. I am off out now to pick something up at Argos in March so will catch up later xMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Morning guys. I have had a lovely weekend as my Big Sister came down to see me. It would have been Alan's birthday on Saturday, so she decided to travel down by train on Sat and go back Sunday just so I wasn't alone for it. We just chilled out, went out for a meal at pub restaurant Saturday night and to the car boot on Sunday morning ................ and generally relaxed. It was good :j :j :j :j
However, I have gone down with a bad cold. Started with a bit of a sore throat Saturday morning, swollen glands in neck and under jaw, losing my voice as the day went on, getting down on my chest by Sunday morning, and I now have a chesty cough and runny nose
After months of chasing up the bathroom work with Housing, the work of changing it into a wetroom has started this morning :j :j The contractors were contacted my Housing on Friday afternoon to see if they could fit in an emergency job and they sent workman at 4pm to check the job, and will be doing it over this week into next. This was the first time the contractors had been contacted by Housing, despite the job being set as Priority 1, to be done within a month, in April, and the job is only being done now due to my persistent phone calls, despite Housing never once ringing me back when promising to  The guy already has the tiles of the walls, the shower tray out, and the flooring up  He works well, never stopped. so I should have a nice new wetroom beginning of next week, all nicely redecorated too :j :j :j :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hurry!! for the bathroom finely being started.
Sorry not been on much, I'v got a mixture of paid and gift knitting on the go at the mo, and also been whittle-arsing over OH, but I can put that behind me now, all his heart test have come back as OK.*phew*
Hope the cold goes quick and try adding honey to any drink's you have, it help's sooth the throat, although I make OH squirm when I have a soar throat, I do Gran's old recipe of butter, sugar and vinigar and have a teaspoon every hour:o£71.93/ £180.000 -

Evening guys. Hope dentist visit goes well tomorrow Beanie
My voice is still very croaky and still coughing, but feeling ok most of the time
Workman came this morning and finished at 11.30 as he had to wait until cement dried where he had set pipework into the wall/floor. I had a toilet and basin yesterday, but the basin has gone today so will have to wash in kitchen. At least I've got the loo at the minute  He said it is coming along nicely and plan now is to finish on Friday :j He is starting the new tiling tomorrow
I nipped out this afternoon after he'd gone, calling in for a chat at car boot cafe, then to Asda for some shopping. Managed to get some cheap cat food so will be taking that to the kennels for the Pet Rescue tomorrow or next day, as they don't just rescue dogsIf anyone is interested, GoCat Adult dry food, the old packs are 375 gms and selling at 32p, whereas the new packs are 340 gms. The shelf label says £1.08 but look at the back
By the way, the packs are the same size but different weight
