Thanks Beanie - I love searching them out ;)

Anyway, evening guys - it's been a mucky wet day here today :( but .................... my bathroom is finished :j :j The guy did the last of the painting and sealing this morning, and put up my shelving unit for me, so I can't wait for my shower in the morning :j :j and to wash my hair

It looks really good and I am very pleased with it, and to show my appreciation, the workman went home with 2 x Robinsons Orange Squash, 2 bottle of Albali red, and a box of MT ;)all from my glitch stash and was very pleased :D I need some worktop in the kitchen, so he is going to price them up for me and let me know how much and when he can do it, at a good price. There are two gap in the worktop, one for cooker and one for fridge/freezer, but I have low fridge in one and tumble drier in other, so want the gaps filled. He is pricing two new complete lengths of worktop. We did away with our cooker as I kept forgetting things and setting the smoke alarm off :oI blame my tablets :o but have a halogen oven and microwave, plus a double hob which he will inset into the worktop for me. More jobs to get ticked off the list :j

Talking of giving workman pressies, he had to go into my stash cupboard to gain access to the loft and mentioned my 'shop' in there :o but thought it was great how I got them :D

Glad it is all sorted 3Dogs and great that you will be able to do the worktops too.

No news yet on when Bros funeral is but it takes time to organise these things in London I understand.

In the mean time I have to gut the house from top to bottom as I have a viewing tomorrow morning - just need to get started but not feeling very chipper at the moment. Need to deal with the doggy footprints in the hall - mud and biege carpets don't really mix :rotfl:

Very true JayJay - that's why I got the cushionflooring down ;) It's bad enough having to mop/vax them regularly but carpet is a no-no to me   Pace yourself with the cleaning though, or you'll be whacked out :D

Good morning - though good is a bit optimistic with heavy rain overnight and still raining now - even the dogs wouldn't go out into the garden this morning

:rotfl: :rotfl: I can imagine her 'helping'  Molly wouldn't settle either, wanted Bess to play with her, but Bess just curled up on the chair, so Molly yap, yap, yapped at her till I played with her instead, throwing toys for her to fetch back. When I got fed up of that, she started yapping again, so I gave her some food and she then curled up on the sofa where she still is, sound asleep ;)

I wish the cat would go to sleep! She's now decided to go sit on the storage heater and watch the rain coming down.

Oh dear Boult, hope she settled and let you get on with your knitting. My two did settle and both slept on sofa most of afternoon. I got soaked taking them out as the rain hasn't stopped, and we didn't go too far  They are now asleep on sofa again :D I decided not to go out today so have just been putting things back into my [STRIKE]bathroom[/STRIKE] wetroom and browsing internet :D

Evening all - it has been really windy here today and the rain just started to clatter against the windows 10 minutes ago  I got out earlier, just to Argos and Tosco. I have been keeping an eye out for a small lamp for my lounge to come in stock but the only place who had stock where I could possibly get it from was near Portsmouth. Luckily, Steve asked me last night if I could pick up and pay for a DVD player they were after for Kit which wasn't in stock down there but was in stock near me. Coincidence?? :eek:Anyway, I picked up their DVD player and Steve picked up my lamp and we will 'exchange' next week when I am down there, so all worked out just right :j

I am meeting a lovely MSE'er from the Tosco Elite thread tomorrow for a coffee, in Tosco of course ;) She lives a few miles away but is driving over to meet me. Will be nice :money: :money:
