Hope yesterday wasn't too hard for you Kavics.

Well done on getting the stuff you need for the baby without spending a fortune. Shame about the last order being cancelled though.

Good news about the courier though, it will definitely make things easier.

Thank you Buffy, I remember you from somewhere too.

Yesterday was very weird, I felt that the day was dragging on and on. I wasn't too emotional but felt really alone and lonely. I went to pick up a bouncer from ebay so got back home very late but I guess that was good.

I'm tired today, the furnitures arrived and I fixed all of them. My OH used to tell me that I should have born a boy because I always wanted to do DIY and felt very sad that he never let me screw or hammer things. But I proved today that I can do it, prove it to my little girl that her mummy can survive and get on with things. It's always in my mind to write down stories about him for my baby girl but never find the time:(. I really don't want to forget anything and want her to know her daddy as much as possible.

I also bought nappies and wipes in Asda, it was baby event and I had £9 off worth coupons so paid nearly nothing. Very pleased with that.

My amazing boss also offered me to get me the pram, I am not sure that I can accept it but it was very generous of her and I really appreciate it. I'm only going for a Maclaren so it's not too expensive but still very thoughtful. I have Ikea planned for tomorrow, getting the remaining baby stuff than I will be officially sorted.

Jwil, hope you joined the Asda baby club, I got the free nappy pack from them and had the £9 worth coupons in it (printed on the side of the box, you need to cut them out).

Enjoy IKEA - I love it there. Sounds like you are doing really well getting all baby stuff together.

Dont feel bad about your boss giving you a pram - you deserve it and she obviously thinks very highly of you x

I love Ikea too:). My shopping list is ready and we are leaving at 1, can't wait. I need to do some small shopping before locally, I run out of cleaning products :(. August has been very expensive but hopefully the following months will be better as I really don't need to get anything else for the baby or for myself.

I've signed up to them, but haven't received anything yet. That sounds very useful though, so look forward to getting it.
