It's Tuesday already, time is passing so quickly.

I have Paralympic tickets for tonight, taking my best friend though I'm sure it will be emotional as I was supposed to go with oh. Well, won't think about it now, I still need to work till 6.

I've opened a couple of Saving accounts but due to only be able to move certain amount money, not all is there. I'm a bit anxious having money on current account.

    Hi Kavics,

I startrd reading your thread the other day and have just got to the end now. What a dificult journey you have been on. The recent payout is so bittersweet for you.

Is it worth having a chat with the bank asking them to move the vast majority into a side savings account for now. That way the money isnt so accessible. Even thought the interest wont be much having it out of the current account until you can, make, the, necessary arrangements.

    Best wishes

    Urg

It was amazing last night, the Olympic stadium was full and the atmosphere was just great. Lots of world records broke, the athletes were inspirational.

I also have a name for little madam finally, debated over 4 with my best friend and I'm going to go with the one I always wanted to use for my daughter. It's very popular but seems right for her and it balances out my oh's very Polish surname.

Glad you enjoyed it, and congratulations on the name!

Thank you Jwil. Being the usual me, I am now not 100% on the name :).It's so hard to decide, how can people be so sure when choosing?

I saw the last doula, she was lovely. I think I am pretty much decided on her, I felt I clicked with her straight away. Such relief. I will sleep on it though, don't want to make a rush decision.

My pushchair arrived, it's perfect and I can't be happier. Little Madam now has everything though hopefully she won't make an appearance for a while. I'm 29 weeks tomorrow, time is flying!

My investment is also cashing in tomorrow, I will put it on a saving account and hopefully won't touch it for a long time. It's not a huge amount money but enough to pay the rent for a couple of months.

It's Friday night, the week has been so long!

I received the bassinet for the buggy and it's just perfect, the whole thing looks so cute and ready to have my baby girl in there. I picked up a Skip Hop (brand new with tags) changing bag from the charity shop close to work for £8, it was an absolute bargain. The boots one is not good for the buggy, I will just give it away to someone who needs it.

I have plenty to do over the weekend, will try to make a list.

Hi Kavics17, just passing popping my head round the Mse door, so to speak, to say hi.

Please continue to let 'us lot' :D updated with your pregnancy stuff, big or small, I know you don't want to post on the pregnancy threads, so allow us to proverbially hold your hand, pass you a brew and listen to the journey that you are on before your beautiful daughter makes her appearance.

Well done on getting your pram sorted, being so organised will mean that as you get nearer your due date you should be able to look after yourself by being calm and relaxed. However I dread to think what you'll be doing when the 'nesting instinct' kicks in....:rotfl:

Forgive me, my girls are 15 and nearly 20 but if I can advise from my long distant past of being pregnant I will.....the least I can do is sympathise with some of the more peculiar aspects of pregnancy and birth.....that I can remember.:o:D xx

I don't think my nesting instinct can be worst than it is now. I am ready for baby, just need to wash all the clothes/sheets/etc and need to bring home the cot though I have a moses basket so no rush really.

Money wise I still haven't received the statement from Sainsburys and they also took out the September payment but hoping they will refund it in the next couple of days. I will give them a call at the end of the week if nothing is happening. Credit card paid off and I know August was a very expensive month, September will be a much better one. Work is busy and I'm getting bigger, I can't believe that I'm now 7 months pregnant!

My investment policy cashed in as well, I have put all the money on saving account. I am waiting for a quote for the headstone for OH, his family want it to be done before Halloween.
