I am having so many problems getting through to the call centre, does anyone have the correct number I can call them on regarding my card, and my loan. I sent the original form i printed out to the derby office 3-4 weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything. Any help would be much appreciated0 -

Hi there, you should have had an acknowledgement by now, but the speed they are going at the moment I wouldn't imagine you to get a decision before the 8 weeks are up tbh.
The telephone number I use is 08007 834 393, I think it's option 3 for complaints, then 3 again for mortgages and ppi and then stay on hold and you get through to the mortgages people who help you the best they can. I was told yesterday that customer relations are not taking calls, making callbacks or returning emails so the mortgages people are your best option i'm afraid.0 -
I too have been haveing same issues sent letter back 11th july nothing yet
I called 2day they said mine was orderd on 20th ;-)
Just a little tip call bang on 9am as o did and there was 0 hold time :-)0 -

I received an offer from egg on the first of August, which i immediately signed and returned first class. I emailed them today to see if a cheque had been issued yet and they say they haven't received my acceptance yet. What do i do now?
I feel like im being messed around :-(0 -

Did you take a copy of the acceptance? If you did, send them it again recorded delivery.

I sent my letter to Egg on Monday, so looks like I've got a bit of a wait yet! Just thought, when you call Egg, you can also speak to someone via the Egg savings option, I did that when I had to verify some security details (my old security info worked although the account was closed about two years ago) and I didn't have anything like the hour plus waiting time quoted by some here. I did say to the girl I spoke to that I thought it was highly dishonest of Egg to issue these letters saying "give us a call" if you have any questions but for the PPI options to be essentionally, a dead end (rant over!)0
