Hi,
long time lurker - first post!
Followed the great advice on here and have had my claim with Canada Square Operations (Egg Loan) upheld so just waiting on my cheque!
Just wanted to know if CSO notified you of the progress of your cheque at all (via e-mail/letter etc) and how long roughly it took to arrive?
First acceptance never arrived - thanks Royal Mail! - but thanks to MSE found the simon2.cooper@citi.com e-mail and sent a scanned acceptance instead!
Cheers,

I sent my acceptance back recorded delivery, which never showed as being delivered but I received a letter from Canda Square advising they had received my form and would send a cheque within 20 working days. My letter was dated 16th November and nothing just yet.
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Any updates to anyone else claims?
CSO have had my acceptance (scanned one) for 12 working days now. They have sent a e-mail to me acknowledging receipt of the acceptance (but now letter to confirm)
Have sent Simon Cooper 2 emails this week asking for an update on progress but no reply to either yet. (Just after an update seeing as Christmas is coming and would like to bank cheque before all the bank holidays/Christmas closures etc)
Anyone have a contact number I can try calling them on?
Cheers,

Hi All
I posted my acceptance on 7th Sept recorded delivery and after seeing others being told citi had not received their acceptance form I started chasing mine up after a month of waiting numerous phone calls that gave me no facts, then I tried a couple of different email addresses, I even suggested in one email that I'm waiting for them to tell me they had not received my acceptance form, and guess what they said exactly that, I swear the emails are templates as not one did they use my name sir or madam just good morning or nothing!
As you can imagine I emailed straight back saying why wasn't I told this weeks ago and what makes their address so special post vanishes for many and what will be different next time, Simon suggested I scan my form which I did immediately 2 weeks ago, and after asking how long he relied b4 17th Dec
No reply to my email asking if it has been processed yet, as I don't want another lost in post excuse!
Rant over I'll post on thread if and when it comes! Good luck guys!0 -
What number did you contact them on? I can't seem to find a phone number anywhere!
Also - you scanned your form and e-mailed it (like I did) - did you get any letter or confirmation that they received the scanned copy?
Some people have had letters confirming receipt of the acceptance - but I haven't? - although I got an initial reply to my e-mail to say they had it.....
Now 12 working days in........

Ok, so - after numerous e-mails to Simon Cooper across the last week or so, which none have been replied to - I found a number to call them on from another MSE thread - 01332 335386, and despite my best efforts, everytime I've called the number it has been engaged - even just now at 7pm (knowing they only work 9-5?!??)
Anyone got any suggestions? I'm only after an update of when I can expect my cheque given the cheque clearing times over Christmas!

Ok, so after another e-mail Simon Cooper replied -
He has now said my cheque will be posted on or around Christmas Eve?! Which will be 22 working days after receipt of acceptance - grrrr!
I reminded him in the e-mail that all previous correspondence stated I would recieve the cheque within 20 working days - not expect it to be posted after that deadline has passed!!! And guess what - no reply to that e-mail stating that........
So much for banking it before Christmas and getting it cleared before all the bank holidays!
