RD your the reason I looked into insanity, it was your posts here.

Regardless of following the nutrition plan, your success will be completing the hard work. Don't put yourself down, sure the world loved E.T. lol

    Awwww, thank you :)

I think you'll change your mind if you saw my bod though :rotfl:

Just keep going, you've done so well so far.

I've just got an email with my tracking number so am hoping it arrives tomorrow! Then I can start on Wednesday.

Am still trying to meal plan, which is hard. Mainly due to cooking for my family but also because I've a bet on with my OH. £100 to the person who loses the most weight or inches lol nothing like a bit of competition to get people going. I can't afford the £100 so I have to win haha

    You go girl :D

If I wasn't so deep in debt, I'd put £100 on you to win too :T

    And remember: DIG DEEPER!

(that will become your mantra, LOL!)

I'm not really following a nutrition plan, just cutting the calories.

And not getting much in the way of results yet...but my two friends who have completed the programme said the results really hit in month 2.

    Keep going everyone!!

EDIT: Maybe some of you guys can help - I'm away this weekend and I can't take 4 days off!! Working it so that my day off will be Friday, but I'm away till Monday! HELP! How can I not miss these days?

  • Where you going? Can you take a DVD player/laptop with you? I know some people who take their workouts with their holiday- even on a caravan holiday and hotels.

    I always think of this:

You will never regret a workout, but will always regret the workout you skipped.

    However,

Missing some workouts happens to everyone- things comes up and we run out of time. It just proves we're human.

This is what Tony Horton says about missed workouts

"Stop beating yourself up if you can't sustain and/or maintain your "perfect" plan. It's okay to miss a workout once in a while. It doesn't mean that your process has gone to hell in a handcart. It doesn't mean you have to start over. Life happens. Priorities shift. So what? Big deal. Just start up where you left off. If you're doing Power 90 or P90X, just add the missed days to the end of the program. I decree the burden lifted! Of course, you must recognize the difference between a missed workout or two and a missed week or two. If you miss 2 weeks of exercise, it will take at least that long to get back to where you left off. If you miss one workout once in a while, you lose nothing. The extra day off can even do the body good."

  • Well I've made a sort of list of the moves for the two I should be doing while I'm away. If there's nowhere to do them, I'll go for a jog or something :)

    Hey guys/girls

Fit test done, was awful at it. Done great at the start but I can't do pushups never mind push up jacks, so managed 1, and then couldn't do the oblique plank thing so managed 1 the whole minute.

Plyometrics is due today, my OH done it yesterday and has been telling me how awful it is but I'm determined to give it a good blast

    Hows everyone else going?!
