Washing-up done, surfaces cleaned, and dog brushed.:D

Mrsrobertson and Lozzy welcome! Lozzy, Mr LW is also scared of heights; I hadn't been with him for very long when he took that picture (just a couple of months) - he stood on terra firma and did the photographs, that was his contribution.;) Oh, and he was the first person to sponsor me to do the abseil in the first place, which he did before we got together, iyswim.:D

I have to disagree with you there, Pigpen. I think you talk/type exactly the right amount. (You also have the knack of making me laugh on a regular basis, for which I thank you.) I hope you get some sleep soon, although you seem to be powering through the Flying this week.
    Better is good enough.

Welcome to Mrsrobertson and lozzy!

I like the look of your fledgling list, LW, but the photo is just amazing. Well done! Do any charities need admin support you could do from home - such as monitoring a website? Don't know anything about this, so it's just a thought.

Can someone please tell me why I decide to do the LR list (with own additions) and then make a start in the kitchen? :o Never mind, as long as I do something that needs doing, it will all get done in the end. I've emptied and cleaned the bin, decluttered non-food cupboards and put lots of plastic and bakeware away. The work surfaces look much better. :D DS2 has made a start on the LR floor - which is fair, since most of the stuff is his! :T
  • Can I please join with ya merry gang, housework has fallen behind last few weeks as lots of stressy stuff going on making everyone avoid anything but necessary cleaning, but head out of the sand and off we go to the cleaning cupboard lol x

    Dinner in
Washing airing in the dryer.. I needed the line space for towels ;)
OH on 2nd piece of painting.. I fear he will be out there a while.

The side of my face feels all tingly.. it is quite a strange sensation

Hopefully this won't jinx things but.. DS3 and DD3 who normally fight like 2 rabid dogs are interacting very pleasantly today.. it is quite disconcerting! I muat have been sufficiently terrifying last night!

Girls both packed for trip.. just need toiletries etc.. I'll sort them later.

Tonight I will get that back room organised slightly and finish this first sleeve of Dots cardy.. I have a mountain more wool to use before I am permitted to buy any more so I need to knit faster! I have to do an owl jumper for Sammy, a couple for Fabian, a red chunky one for Tiddles and a few more for Dot.. before winter jumps on us! .. my chunky remains are going to make a blanket or if there is enough a jumper for DD1.. she is always freezing and loves my knitted woollies... that's me busy for the next 10 years!

I do, if fact, do the admin for our area for the Pagan Federation.;) Just means receiving membership updates and sending out new/renewed membership cards and welcome letters. You can tell when I've had some of this to do, those are the days I swear about my desktop PC, because that's the only one that's connected to the reliable printer.:D

I haven't found anyone else wanting websites monitored/admin doing. I used to do some for CAMRA but got sick of the way they treated me, (branch meetinga are invariably in pubs with no wheelchair access, plus their attitude towards women stinks - this is just the branch, not the organisation as a whole btw) so told them where to poke it.;)

Ah, Mr LW is home....dins, then.

    Hello Ladies,

    Thanks for the new thread,

LW - Wow! what a picture!

Pigpen - I remember you going into raptures about your new washing machine recently. Mine is trying to take off accompanied with enough noise to silence my brood so it's time for a replacement. Please give the benefit of your buying of large machines advice and details of who you got it from if they are a national supplier.

Work told me they are letting me go today. Really pants afternoon. They were ready to pay me up to today and ship me out the door. I told them I've paid out for childcare on the basis I would be working through the summer holidays. The boss offered to reimburse me until I pointed out that I've worked 3 months and was subject to a 1 month notice. Things got messy and I've now been told to work my notice which I really don't feel like doing. We are having a debacle with the boys passports so I've told them I will work up til the passports arrive then go on holiday as planned. I don't feel too upset, just really taken advantage of. I've turned my world upside down for them and they just keep raising the bar. Really not looking forward to going in tomorrow.

DH has just poured me a very large glass of wine. I need it.

    Cheers
