Valli - if you google pricerunner (or have a look in argos), you could check if anyone has left comments for the machine. Otherwise, send me a pm and I'll have a look at which online (provided I can locate my login details...
)
Pigpen - Usually one has to be from current/most recent employer or educational establishment. How about uni? The other can be a personal reference, e.g. a family friend or professional person who knows you well. I've done one for NN's son when he applied for St John's.
Not the most productive day today, so I'll have to try for an earlier start tomorrow and hope it will make a difference. Depending on the weather, I also want to get out a bit with DS2.0 -
Re washing machines I have an LG washer dryer, only 8kg but enough for us, has a 30min cycle and 4 spin speeds which really get the water out. Also plays a tune, lol, and has a child lock... Much needed here.Bossymoo

0k for my 1st day I didn't get all the List done but feeling chuffed with myself non the less.
LR - Floor tidied and hoovered. Magazines sorted and put into recycling.
All dishes done. I usually have a few pots or so lurking in the bottom of the sink, so well pleased
HHI - done
WM - 5 loads washed and dried, 3/4 of which is folded and put away. Have to iron the rest.
DH is on night shift at the moment so I try to be as quiet as possible in the mornings and keep kids (2 and 5) entertained, or we just go out if they get too boisterious. He works hard so I don't mind. Might make doing the Bedroom tricky though.
When does the list for tomorrow go up?0 -

I so know what you mean! After decluttering the top of the cellar stairs and a massive grocery shop on Thursday and Friday last week, I've only just reclaimed my kitchen and the dining room is even more doom-laden then before. However, I'm now in with a chance of finding a home for everything, which will help with getting and keeping things tidy.
I'm amazed that teachers turn down requests for passport applications, pigpen. I'd gladly do this (provided kids come themselves in their own time and ask politely), but can't because I don't have a British passport myself. Is there anybody in a professional capacity who knows you and your family well?0 -
Right Beavers done, meeting done and now it's bedtime!
Piggers - what's it for?
LW - behave - we need you on here! If you need more work to do you can always help out with the lists!

Hi everyone, sorry I'm going to be a bit hit and miss this week as I've been given some extra work (good for reducing the debts, but not so good for my poor house's tidiness levels) and am struggling to fit everything. Think the diet and exercise may well be taking a back seat for the next few days too
Hopefully soon I will be in a position where I don't feel obliged to accept absolutely every opportunity of extra work I'm offered as I feel guilty for being in so much debt and am desperate to start trying for a baby before our second anniversary.
I'm going to miss you guys and your motivation (think OH may miss it more though as the house is a state when I'm left to my own devices :rotfl:). I'll try to check in as much as I can, and hopefully will be able to properly rejoin later in the week / by next week's thread.
When I rejoin I'm going to be going on a major decluttering binge I think as I just don't need so much of the stuff which is making my house untidy, and lots of the things I do need are broken or need repairs. I'd ideally like to be in a position where the house is a lot more functional and neat by the time of mine and hubby's birthdays in November. Hopefully the decluttering will give us a little extra money to treat ourselves too.0 -
