Pigpen could you ask any of the teachers from the children's school/nursey? Are there any relatives that could write a reference?

I'm late in but my son's birthday party is on Saturday so will have lots of friends and family here which means the place has to be sparkling!

I've not followed the list today, been doing my own thing but will follow from tomorrow.

    Today;

    - Kitchen cleaned, swept and mopped. Also wiped down the radiator.
    - Duvet that baby plays on washed and on the airer (also another load on the airer)
    - Bathroom swept and mopped.
    - First living room swept. Entire room moved round.

    Still to do;

    - Clean the toilet, wipe bathroom down.
    - Put out cardboard and metal recycling for tomorrow
    - HHI
    - Put another wash on
    - Have some dinner!!!
    - Declutter

Not sure I'll do it all but not bad considering we were out all day and didn't get home until 6pm :)

the teachers are not allowed as they get inundated so just don't allow it. It specifies no relatives.. but there would only be my sisters who are very dyslexic or my mother.

Frodders.. most of it is needing sorting into what can stay and what needs to go and I don't get through it very quickly.. but I am getting there.. I'll just get it reasonable then we will have a christmas or a baby or a catastrophe and it all goes to rack and ruin

Well at least you have lots of reasons / excuses - errmmm I don't! :o

You could also consider a 101 in 1001 list (101 things to do in 1001 days - froddy knows a lot about them). I started one, but lost the plot a bit and need to return to it at some time. I think the difference is that it sounds less 'final', if that makes sense.

I'm going to start thinking about my list - so far I want to go in a helicopter, go on a balloon trip, and see the Northern Lights.:o

Firstly, huge hugs. You know where I am if I can help in any way. I can also do MK in a day if you decide meeting x amount of flyladies can go on your list :D

My first 101 in 1001 has ended and I completed just under half of the things. I am planning on writing a new one sometime over the summer (incidently, mine included a helicopter and a hot air balloon ride). Putting a time limit on it is good but I didn't spend enough time considering costs and that was the main reason why some didn't get done. Also, the actual time things take needs to be taken into account as I had given myself too many books to read / films to watch, etc. in the time.

PM me if you want to know more - I'll have a look for the website link too.

Flying wise, I've done bits and bobs of sorting and decluttering although you wouldn't know it to look at this room! I'm sure I make more mess trying to declutter!!

    Listy update to follow ............

  • Pigpen - you can get medical people to sign photos, i know doctors or police, mps etc, but i know that our doctor charges, don't know if this is the norm. I would maybe arrange to see the head at school and give them a little donation/help to their summer fayre, better them than the doctor. We have friends in the police, so they signed my daughters passport, you could have a word with the police to see if they can further help, i always find them very helpful. You are very sociable on Flylady. Come to think of it, im not too sociable myself these days!!

    Evening all

    Welcome all new people :j:j

Pigpen what about post office staff (they must know you when you take ebay parcels in) or manager of the CS you take donations to? Is DS a member of any diabetic organisation where there is someone who could vouch for you? I'll carry on thinking x Oooh, your solicitor??

This is what I have left from today's list:

Monday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs
    Level One

Clear the floor in the LR
    Level Two
Hoover any of the floor you can see
    Dust any fluffy surfaces
    Level Three
Clear and wipe the coffee table
Clear and wipe the windowsill or a shelf
    Wipe telephones
    Extras
    HHI

Sorry about the previous post which I have now edited - glass of vino splashed onto laptop keyboard I was frantically mopping up!!
