((((((hugs)))))) from me, too, LameWolf x
HHC at 11.15 resulted in vacuumed loft (landing, my bedroom, my bathrrom (not carpeted, but I vacuum hard floors too) and stairs down to middle floor. Ironing in DS3's room put away, magazines put away (and some decluttered to recycling) and 2 toys purged to loft box for next NCT saleNot a great deal, but at least it's a start of sorts!
I[ve since donated blood, collected DH's drycleaning and had a quick scoot around our new farmfoods (next to drycleaners) Just had lunch and sat here with a cuppa trying to summon energy, enthusiam and anything else to get off my bum again....

Dropped off at the end of the week but I have been busy, Friday I went shopping for clothes got a few nice things most of it on sale:money: then went to my cousins 30th party it was a good night nice to catch up with my family. Picked up my neice on the way back from the party as she didnt want to go to her grandmas funeral so she stayed with us and we dropped her home at 9pm on Sraturday night. OH took DS2 and niece to the olympic football on staurday too. Yesterday I did very little other that sleep OH took DD with him to work so I had the day to myself.
Last night my boiler packed in so I have no heating or hot water and have spent the day boiling the kettle to get people washed and the cleaning done its driving me mad:mad: I have phoned repair boy hopefully he will get to me today!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

No flying as yet, but with the help of my son I have decluttered the money I made from the bootfair yesterday and my bank account.
However, have managed to get 2 x bed linen, curtains, paint incl gloss, rollers, brushes, etc and 5 x pictures/canvas for the walls.
Going to have a cuppa and then make a start in the LR.Declutter 100 things in August 68/1000 -
Thank you all so much - you've no idea how much it means to me.:o Don't worry, I'll be OK, it all just gets a bit much sometimes; and I find it very hard to accept that I am deteriorating.
Dusty unfortunately, I'm housebound if Mr LW isn't around to help me - both physically, and with people, as I have extreme social phobia. I did look into doing voluntary work for the RSPCA about a decade ago, when I wasn't quite so poorly, but even then, I couldn't guarantee that I'd be well enough to work every (say) Wednesday, so they didn't want me. I've become even more scared of dealing with people since then; this is why the dog-sitting is so good, I don't get to meet the owners, I only deal with the local agent, who brings the dogs to me and picks them up again.
Helen I'm not sure I'm up to visitors at the moment - as it is, Ted's due to be picked up at 09:30 tomorrow, but if I can get past this latest nasty flare, perhaps I can take a rain-check for now, and we can sort something at a later date.:o I have to somehow get a bit of confidence for meeting people, and this would be a good start - at least I know you're a nice person!:D
Rowan tree I'd have loved to sky-dive; unfortunately, I'd have to have a medical certificate to be allowed to do it, and no way is that going to be forthcoming. I have, however, abseiled off the top of the John Radcliffe Hospital. It was back in 2002,and I did it to raise money for the Blue Cross.

There you go - that's me just gone over the edge!:D
Needless to say I'm fatter than that now!
I'm going to start thinking about my list - so far I want to go in a helicopter, go on a balloon trip, and see the Northern Lights.:o
I do apologise for being a self-indulgent twerp - but you lovely folks do make me feel better, you know.:o
And Mr LW's got Wednesday off; we've got year-long passes to both the National Space Centre and Bletchley Park, so we'll go out to one or other (depending on the weather) after we've done an early-morning raid on W@itr0se.;)
Thursday Jessie Lab arrives.:T
Anyways, I'm going to do one of my infamous QHCs in the kitchen - there's a bit of washing up to do since I cooked spuds for potato salad and hard-boiled some eggs, plus my lunch plate, and the coffee machine needs cleaning. Think I can do all that in a quarter hour?:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Dusty, thanks for that - I always keep the mixture dry, like pastry. Next time I'll keep the mixture sticky and see how they turn out. (thinks ..... Could just eat a freshly cooked scone now!). I'll let you know how I get on.
Mrs Robertson, welcome, I'm a newbie too! You'll find this forum invaluable.
Lamewolf - it it was me I'd be going to the Space Centre but - one of my friends went to Bletchley a few weeks ago and said it was the best day he'd ever had - this from someone who's travelled from the USA to the Far East. Have a great day out with Mr LW wherever you go. Loved your picture - mine was so many years ago I haven't got one, but it was off a cliff in Devon.0 -

:eek::eek: i`m really scared of heights i mean i can do aeroplanes and the stairs but i cant do any type of ladders, i couldnt even imagine myself abseiling!
Anyway, could i please join i am due baby number 3 on the 24th of december and although i know will be 2 weeks late it would be lovely to get the house really clean and tidy for then.
My house is a magnet for dust, and rubbish i will never use, i should be looking in to hiring a skip but i would like to sort out all my rooms first so i dont leave any rubbish behind.
I`m off to burn tea see you all later.0
