Lovely to see lots of new fly ladies joining! Welcome!

Have had my baby back to the docs, gawd I'm sick of that place, lol. She doesn't have tonsilitis, but has infected ulcers  all in the back of her mouth. No wonder she doesn't want to eat.

She now has some throat spray which she pronounced "yacky" but then went on to glug 5oz milk so I gather the numbing stuff works. Other than that she is run down, so is just a case of lots of rest, vitamins, fluids, trying to boost her immune system.

LR dusted, wiped, tidied and floor cleaned but I'm behind on work, so will put in an extra hour or two when tots are in bed. MIL said she'd be here at 6.30am omg, so I can get into work early and make up for today. She'll have dd for the day and drop DS at nursery at 8 for the day.

Don't know what I'd do without her. Thank heaven for grannies...

((((Lame Wolf)))))) gentle hugs from me and a swizzle swit from Charlie (that's the equivalent of a budgie kiss :))

My birthday is 1st September - when's yours Valli? I keep saying I ought to go the docs, but it's always 'next week'...which, like tomorrow, never arrives.

No flying done yet - just worked 8.30-5.00 then came home and sat down. I think a QHC should be managable though and I'll follow the list and spend the QH on Level 1 LR floor. Need to eat first though.

Hugs, spoons, sticks to all who need them

Pigpen - I remember you going into raptures about your new washing machine recently. Mine is trying to take off accompanied with enough noise to silence my brood so it's time for a replacement. Please give the benefit of your buying of large machines advice and details of who you got it from if they are a national supplier.

    Avoid Currys!!

Go through quidco... boots kitchen appliances were chest by far for my machine I had to ring to check that was their price.

I hate hotpoint.. wouldn't have one given.. So for me the Samsung was the only option. Hotpoint do 11kg with 1600 spin and Samsung is 12kg but 1400 spin.. it is a massive difference.. if you TD in the winter I'd say go for the faster spin but if you don't I'd say the Samsung cos it is beeeeeaaauuuutiful... and plays a snazzy wee toon at the end of the cycle... very annoying when you have 2 finish about 5 seconds apart!

Have you changed the brushes on yours recently? checked the bearings? Made sure it is level

We got a beko one from currys, i know loads of people that hate beko, it was £169.00 in the sale and its lasted us 6 years, and i have just passed it on to my uncle, its still going, i have just bought a hotpoint washer dryer, i just looked for the lowest priced, its got 1 year labour and 5 year parts guarantee free so if it lasts a few years i will be happy. when i have mentioned it to anyone i have been told they are rubbish too :rotfl:.

I have cleaned the bath, sink and toilet, i had a bath and scrubbed the kids, then washed the tiles, i need to do the floor but i CBA i might do it before bed.
