Anyone been in a similar situation ..........
I've been all through the stages of claiming bank charges up to Lloyds TSB defending and then being 'out of time' in putting a defence forward. Judgement was made on 1st May 2007 for them to pay (£177) but they didn't - I wrote to them with a copy of the judgement - still nothing. The Court now say I need to pay for a 'warrant of execution' so that the bailiffs will go in costing me another £55. I've tried writing twice now, I've rang the solicitors, customer services but no refund so far. Now I'm stuck as I'm not sure of the address to serve the warrant of execution, the solicitors said to try my local bank so I'm calling in tomorrow to get an address to send the warrant to, as it's looking like I'll have to pay £55 more.0 -

You will receive the funds, but when the Court receive the funds it takes 24
days to clear from the Court Account, plus another fourteen days after that
for reasons I cannot fathom, but that is what I have been told by the Court.0 -
Hi All, Hopefully someone can help me. I started a claim against RBS and ended up going down the moneyclaim route. They did not enter a defence so i asked for a judgement by default which has been accepted. How long do i now give them to actually make payment? The only other problem is MCOL has let me issue a warrant and i now obviously understand that i should of allowed them a period of time to make payment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.0

Hi all
Have today just issued a warrant of Execution against Lloyds TSB to send in the Bailiffs. My local county court(Boston) ruled in my favour, where Lloyds had till yesterday to pay back £476.49. Spoke to my local branch & they couldn't help or even give me a phone number for the claims department. Also spoke to their Solicitors who said they knew nothing about it. So enought is enought the Bailiffs are going in. Even have my local newspaper willing to run a story on this. Cant beleive an International billion pound company is willing to damage its reputation over what is o them a very small sum.
Good luck to everyone else out there,

Hi
I am new to the forum, although I have been using the money saving expert website all the way through my claim against HSBC.
I originally wrote to them on 15th March. Sent the two letters to them, didn't get any response and so in the end I used MCOL, they acknowledged, didn't enter a defense and so I did judgement by default which was issued on 08/06/07.
I haven't received any money or a response from the bank, is there any kind of follow up procedure people have used before I issue a warrant? Should I call them/write to them again or should I just go ahead and issue the warrant.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank you0 -

Apply for the warrant. Did they give you any warning of the charges? The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Hiya
I am aware I will have to pay for it, but the amount gets charged on top of what I am already claiming doesn't it?
I think that may actually give the bank a bit of extra time to do something though as i will have to wait until i get paid...0 -

IIRC, the courts only give them 7 days to pay.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0
