    Hi

Just want to get a response from anybody who has sent the baliffs into there bank.
Claim is for £10,650.00 on my business account, they acknowledged back at the start of may but never entered a defence, so took automatic judgement 2 weeks ago, still no money so entered a warrent of execution and recived a letter today so say it was issued on the 4/6/07.

Does the baliffs let you know when they are going as i want to let the local media know about it.

#Hi Ho, Hi Ho. It's off to sequestrate we go.# Nah, it just doesn't have quite the same "ring" to it.

I don't think they do, but it's well worth a 'phone call! It would certainly be a pleasant charge from all the recent publicity - although that does seem to have "backfired" on the banks and CCCs.

I could do with a bit of help please someone.
I have been using the MCOL to claim back my bank charges from Lloyds tsb. I have got to a point where judgment has been entered for immediate payment on the 2nd May.
The MCOL site now says I can issue a warrant but there are a couple of things I am unclear about.
The site asks for the Amount of Warrant and Solicitors Costs and says you must fill in these parts. What do I put in? Is the Amount of Warrant the £2750.00 I am claiming or something else, Getting confused Help would be much appreciated.
if you give mcol a ring on 0845 6015935 they will do it over the phone for you they advised me to wait a week after judgment before doing it
  • yee haaa...go for it!! cant advise but i`m interested in responses you get.

    Hi

I have posted this elsewhere on site, not sure best place to get advice, so i'm trying here.....

Can anyone help.. I have followed the whole process and now have got to the stage were I have reqested a warrant as the bank said they would defend the claim but never did. I requested judgement with mcol and this went through ok, but again still no response, I then spoke to the court and they said the next step was to request a warrant to send in the bailiffs and this is now in the process.... WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE...... has anyone gone this far and if so what happened...

I have not received any offers from the bank, at any time..

Someone please advise as I have no idea what to do now

I would issue Warrant, which costs £55 but you will get this back. I have been down
this route. You do get the money back plus your costs.

It depends on how hard the bank tries to wriggle off the hook. Even if they don't dispute the judgement, it can still take a week or so for the bailiff and "the boys" to threaten to pay them a visit. As they say, “the wheels of justice grind slow, but they grind exceeding small.”

If this is now in the process you need to read the FAQ here...

I already have my judgement against Lloyds. Would it be safer for me to wait til the 28 days are up before issuing a warrant? can they still de-rail things AFTER the 28 day marker(i.e ask for the judgement to be set aside)? When do I know I'm safe?!! *Scratches head in confusion* HELLLLLP!
