Hi all! I am over the moon ! just been awarded all my money back from HSBC My only question now is, how long is at reasonable to give the bank to cough up before sending in bailiffs. I only won last week but better to be prepared. Cheers and thanks for all the help over the last few months you are all wonderful!
If you need it quickly, try ringing the solicitors up, and tell them your intentions to issue a warrant.
I waited 10 days, then issued a warrant. It took a month before i heared anything. The bailiffs had marked 4 company vehicles for removal, and had given the bank 3 weeks to pay. I recieved my money the same day.0 -
i recieved a letter from Lloyds dated 24th April stating that they would pay up in full within 10 working days but i haven't received anything! the number that the customer services team has provided me is always busy and i can never get through- any advice? :mad:0

What stage is your claim at?The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Did you make the claim via the courts? They can chase it up for you, if you did.
Or if you havent taken it to court yet - THREATEN them with going to courtThey have to repay your court fees so you can't lose

The courts have hundreds of warrants waiting to be executed and the bailiff is only allowed into the receiption area and cannot levy on any goods in that part of the building as there are nogoods of value in the foyer.0
