  I'm running out of patience and money waiting for the Halifax to pay up.I issued Court Action, which they ignored. They didnt even acknowledge it,even with judgement, not a word.So now i can at last send in the Baliffs,at a cost to me at first, but i wil get it back when they adventually pay up.Why do they ignore and let things mount up,in the end they have to pay more cost than at first started..Wish i can see the baliffs in action.
All i've got to do now is click the submit button for the baliffs to go. cant wait0 -

I took Lloyds Bank to court and although Sechiari Clarke & Mitchell sent an intent to defend they did not. As a result I was awarded judgement and a warrant was issued on the 4th June. The bailiff subsequently served the warrant on the 10th June. I have recently called Sechiari Clarke & Mitchell and was put through to a very arrogant individual (who, incidentally refused to give his name, I wonder why?!) who informed me that they had applied to the court to have the judgement set aside.
Why did they not issue the defence in time?
Is this just delaying tactics or do they intend to make an example of me?
Has anyone else had this experience?0 -

I won my bank charges claim by default on 14th June and they didn't respond and pay me my money so I issued a warrent on 2nd July and the baliffs are going to be paying a visit to Nationwide.
I was wondering how common this is and wheter Nationwide can do anything to stop this. They ignored my letters apart from the one asking for my money back, they ignored the court claim, the default and so I guess this is the final step.
I didn't send in a schedule of charges to the moneyclaim people but I rang them and they said I didn't need to. Is this right?
I so want to be there when the baliffs go in but its miles away0 -

It was two weeks before the baliffs acted on my warrant against Lloyds TSB.
But when they marked several company cars for removal, they paid the same day.
I was starting to think the baliffs were scared of a big bank, but that was not the case, and i am sure it will be the same for you.0 -
they never entered a defense so won by default but they have still not payed by the deadline i set. how long does it take once you issue a warrant for the bailiffs to go in? as this is what i have just done cheers??:beer:0
