Cokezone olympic tickets HELP!

Plus, if I don't know whether I actually have tickets or not I can't really get time off work for 4 people in case these tickets don't exist but if we don't book the time off we can't go anyway.

We can't be the only two people who haven't been called can we? There were 77 pairs of tickets up for grabs in total. I wonder how many people have had their phone call so far.

Cant be the only two in the country, when i do find out will probably womens football anyway, it is annoying because they are leaving people so little time to book train tickets etc, will visa card be sent direct to person as well so can book travel before hand just want a phone call.

I was told by the other person I know who is going (and won their tickets in April) that the pre-pay VISA card comes loaded with £300 on at the same time as the event tickets, however the amount is only authorised for spending after your event. So basically you have to pay for your own travel and then use the prepay card to pay yourself back. I'll use mine on food shopping probably after forking out for the train tickets from the household account!

Again, I have no idea if this will be the case for these tickets as cokezone couldn't give me any details.

To be honest I wouldn't care what event it is, have you looked at the events schedule for your day. It could be track cycling which would be wicked!! Other events on the 6th August include handball, hockey, basketball, athletics.

I dont mind what i get as well just want it to be in London so can experience the atmosphere properly, but 13.50 still no phone call ARGH:(:(

I rang them again this afternoon to ask why some people have been called and others haven't and they said that nobody has been called at all yet as they were still waiting to confirm details. So either they are making up stories or Elle7's friend won different tickets? I don't get why you can't get a straight answer to anything from coke.

got simalar answer to you just called again as well was told that they didnt have info yet was told there was only about 20 winners in total which was surprising, Was told no point in calling until Monday if dont hear Friday end of day, told her my event is only just over a week away and she as soon as got info they will call us. guess your freind won a different comp.:rotfl:

I was emailed last Friday that I'd won tickets for an unspecified event on 7 August and that I'd be contacted by 25 July. No phone call Monday or Tuesday. I contacted them first thing Wednesday, and I was asked to give it until the end of the day. Still nothing.

I've chased it again today and was asked to phone back tomorrow. I've had to push them to escalate it for me as we've got tickets for other events so we leave Scotland for London on Sunday morning and won't be back home until mid August. I feel sorry for the people manning the phones as it must be frustrating for them too.

So after pushing it did you get anywhere, i am similar position as you i have tickets too another event on the same date i have won tickets so need details so i can arrange travel for home as i am taking my 4 year old with us so difficult will push for an answer Friday as cant wait much longer

They've escalated it as a 'priority'. I hadn't heard back by late this afternoon so I phone back again. Still nothing. So guess I'm on the phone at 9a.m. tomorrow again. Fortunately I have an understanding boss!

obviously assume that all the winners live in the south east and can easily nip along before hand with their ID to collect the tickets and wouldn't need to book any long train journey tickets..
