Cokezone olympic tickets HELP!

Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes!

I received an email on Friday from Cokezone telling me I had won 4 tickets to the Olympics on 8th August and that they would be calling me by the 25th July with details.

Now I am an impatient person so I rang yesterday them to find out which events the tickets were for so I could look at train tickets. They wouldn't tell me which events and said they'd ring me back.

I heard nothing so I rang again today and asked for more details about how to claim my prize, again the call handler said she couldn't give me any details as she didn't know. I asked to speak to someone who might know ie a line manager and she said nobody knew and that they would call me. She refused to take my contact details saying that if I had won they would have my contact details already and I would get a phone call.

My issue is this, in order to claim the prize you have to fill in and send back forms which they send you in the post (after they call you) including a proof of ID for all 4 people the tickets are for. The event is in 9 working days, how I am supposed to sort this in 9 working days if they won't confirm my prize, tell me which event it is for or send me the forms to complete?

I am absolutely gutted as I have no idea how to get the tickets that I won in their promotion and don't understand why they are being so difficult and won't return my calls or give m any information. I'm starting to think I won't get to go to the olympics after all

I know it must be frustrating as you want to know what you are getting and who you want to take - but what did the Terms and Conditions say when you entered the competition.
If it said 'We'll contact the winners by phone on 25th July' then they have until then to call you.
You would have accepted their T&C's to enter the comp, so whilst it's frustrating to have to wait that's all you can do

The terms and conditions for this competition have disappeared from their site, the only ones left are for the previous Olympic tickets promotion which ran in April.

I understand that I am supposed to wait until 25th July according to their automated email, but that was definately not in the terms of the competition plus I think it's unreasonable to expect me to fill in and return a load of forms on the off chance they receive them in time to send the tickets out to me. You'd think that their Olympic tickets winners line would have information about the prize too if they are really going to ring me within 24 hours??

Sorry but with a company like Coke they would have had their T&C's sewn up tight and detailed that you would need to provide information
Ultimately it would be down to you to get it to them in time, whether that be by registered post etc

You are - your OP says that you are getting 4 tickets. You just don't know yet for which event - which you should find out tomorrow!

9 days isn't an impossible deadline to get forms to them. If you find out what the tickets are and decide you want to go send it by special delivery.

(or ask them if you can send it by email)

I rang them again as the email said to ring if I hadn't heard by 25th and they still said they don't know any details yet

I am struggling to understand what you expect from this forum.

This isn't a Consumer Rights issue.
It would probably be better on the Praise Vents and Warnings board.
