I would say yes, but that's just me

So, day 1, salary safely in bank ( I lie, it's whizzing out on all the so's/DD's etc - but it did appear, honestly!), and today has been a No Spender. (Easy when you don't go near a shop, isn't it?...1 down , 30 to go.
My OH says he can't see why I'm doing this, because "you don't waste money anyway". Hey, isn't that nice? However, this could be a case of him not actually knowing about all those little extras like mags, the odd Mars bar...etc.!!
Hope you're all doing ok!Resolution:

Well done on your first No Spend Day :j
It's so good to have everyone joining in on the challenge
A lot of the time I don't feel like I'm a money waster but the little treats ie the odd magazine or chocolate bar, the lunch you bought because you couldn't be bothered to make a sandwich to take with you, etc must all add up!
I can't wait till the end of the month to see how much difference it does actually make to my bank balance to not buy un-necessary items
Keep it up everyone

Are cough/sore throat sweet classed as unnecessary? I've woken up with a cold and sore throat.... feeling sorry for myself, surely a creme egg is ok today :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh and tissues... but they are necessary!!!:rotfl:
Hope we all have a good day today, I'm visiting 1 childminder and 2 nurseries today so on for a NSD. It's fab visiting nurseries etc as my DD gets to play with others, for free!!! I could make this a FT thing.... lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Chele, good luck with this.
Tempted to join, but know that the Easter break will stretch the pennies a bit this month, especially with the children off. But having said that maybe that's the best time try ?The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones. - Chinese Proverb
