Hey Tigzem,
Tiramisu donuts; now they sound gooooooooooood.
Question is, did they ease your sore throat?
If so, perhaps they were cheaper than a couple of packs of cough sweets
Glad your dd found a playmate this morning; it makes all the difference to a peaceful day........
better luck tomorrow with the spending.

Evening all! Hope you're soon feeling better Tigzem. Well done to everyone - this is going quite well??
Now, today was a day when I had to be at school by 8am and didn't leave until 6pm, driving swiftly past Mr T's, so another no spender.....but have just realized that I'll need more diesel tomorrow as I have to go out to a funeral during the day - a journey I forgot to calculate for last w/e. So, will have to spend a bit! I'll probably fill the tank...but hopefully with the school holidays starting Friday it'll last a bit longer than usual. Sort of swings and roundabouts if you see what I mean.Resolution:

My ebay items have 1 day and 43 mins to go
I hope someone bids on them! I'm watching Martin's books on ebay as well - is this counted as an unecessary spend?

I'm sure someone will bid on them Nicola  If I'm ever watching stuff on ebay I normally wait until the last 10 mins before bidding anyway.
Martins books are probably more of an educational spend I reckon:D
Well done Beemuzed on your second NSD:A
Speak to you all tomorrow, although it'll probably be when I get in from work now with the computer problems at work!:mad:Official DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Morning all... I'm on for a NSD today. I still feel snuffly but ok. I have £10 to last me til Tues. Out for a meal on Fri and was going to cancel (with family) but Mum offered to pay for me... result!! Yay for Mum. She's coming too.
My DD has a horrid cough, poor love. She's ok in herself though so still on for this afty, going to a friends house, we all meet once a week and have choc cake (Damn!! Diet....)
So no more Creme Eggs/Doughnuts, ooh but I have one egg left from Monday....hmmmmm.
Hope you all have a fab day x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Did you get any bids, Nicola?
Glad you're feeling a bit better, Tigzem and hope your dd's cough clears soon.
Enjoy the chocolate cake - that should put the creme egg monster in its place for a day and great news about the meal on Friday - enjoy!
I need to do grocery shopping today, but I have been pouring over my list looking at where I can cut back and it's amazing what you can do. For instance, instead of individual flavoured yogurts for dd I'm getting a large pot of plain yogurt and swirling jam into it - I'm actually quite enjoying looking to see where I can cut corners. Sad life, eh?
I hope you all have a good day - bummer about the work computers Chele.

10 hours to go. I hope your dd's cough clears soon Tigzem. I'm not having a NSD as I'm getting my hair done today, but mum said she'd give me some money towards it, yay
Hope you all have a great day!

Haven't been on ebay in 3days so feeling very proud of myself, even though I broke my webcam and had to convince myself not to go straight on to bid on one. I have lots of DD clothes to list and they normally sell quite well so when i can pull my fingers out I will see to that. Did a TNS mystery visit this afternoon and even though it meant spending, i get the money back and made £14 on top of it.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0

Does the window cleaner count as an unnecessary cost???? I could do it myself I guess but he's a nice chap and we have a good chat. Anyway he's just been and taken my last £10 but I can get it back from the bills account as it is budgeted for..... so apart from that a NSD!!!!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Well my hair looks fabulous
but I'm not going to say how much it costs, as I've saved for it since christmas! One of my items has a bid so I guess that's something
