Hi everyone! Finally got in from school half an hour ago! (Well, governors' meeting & training session - but it has made a mammoth day. Sorry about the job Cheletastic.
Had to go into Mr T's as OH rang to say no milk left.....and I weakened and bought myself a sandwich for tomorrow. Yes, I'm tired and may well be up at the last minute, and I do need to be early as it's the last day of term (YAY!!!!)...but I do have bread, ham, cheese, etc, so it was unnecessary. (Hangs head in shame.) (But I just fancied chicken, bacon and avocado, so there!) But £2.40 on a sandwich??????Resolution:

Hope everyone has a good day today, I'm aiming for a NSD

I don't think I'll have a NSD today.. I need my hair cutting, I have a job interview on Mon and it will give me more confidence if my hair looked half decent. It's quite long and always worn back as looks straggly and yuk!! Hasn't been cut for months and months so it needs a complete new cut.
Eek fear it may cost lots of pennies "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

quick hello before setting off.
I am doing a top up shop at Lidls today and need to fill up the car. Friday is also the day we go to the farmers market, so I need to keep myself in check; especially as I have to go through town later on (this is about a once in a six month thing for me!)
Must stay strong though.........:D
The film wasn't worth the £3 rental; parts of it were great, but it was more a visual film than one with a story
I just need to make sure I remember to take it back so I don't get an extra fine on it LOL!
Have a great day everyone. I really feel that just being AWARE of when we spend 'unecessarily' is really good - it leads to other things

I agree Bigpaws!
The fact that we are questioning ourselves - Beemuzed and the sandwich:eek: ; Tigzem and the hair do:cool: ; you and the DVD:eek: , etc- is a good thing.
At least we are becoming more aware of what we are spending and where we are weaker and more at risk of un-necessary spending (tired, Mr T's, the bottle of milk that always turns into more) which will in turn help us to be stronger!!:T
Tigzem, if it helps you get the job - it's a necessity!! Good luck for Monday
Think it's another no spend for me today but will update later - not sure whether to do Mr T tonight or tomorrow.
Good luck everyone:DOfficial DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Lunch time and due to the weather I'm stopping in so definately no temptation for lunch time spending!!:D
I've also written out shopping list for Mr T's ready for when I go - still haven't decided whether to go on way home tonight or on way back from mom n dad's tomorrow though! Depends how tired I am by tonight I suppose:rolleyes:
How's everyone else doing?Official DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
I have an appt for a haircut this afty, going to cost £25. I have the money in my savings account, I've been transferring anything below £10 into my account with the plan to use it towards a debt... but getting a job means paying off more on the debt so yep haircut is essential!! lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." It's the end of another working week!!:j
I've decided I'm too tired to shop sensibly tonight so going grocery shopping tomorrow instead.
Not going out tonight so that makes it another NSD for me :T
Think thats 6 NSD's in a row!!!!!:AOfficial DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
I posted 2 Ebay parcels this afternoon, but that only came to £1.14 and technically they've paid for it, so can that be a NSD for me as well?
