Hi Nicola
The postage is definately a necessary - so yes, you can have a NSD!!:j
Well done on the money saving at the hairdressers Tigzem
Have just got in and reckon I can go through my shopping list that I've written for tomorrow and knock a couple of things off it, so that's good:T
Keep up the good work everyone:beer:

Hi everyone!
just a quick check in before chilling out for the night. Oooo, some successes all around then - cheaper haircuts, posting eBay sales and crossing things off grocery lists
I topped up my shopping at Lidls for £10.50 and there weren't any extravagances and filled up the car (had to go to town so was able to fill up much cheaper than the HUGE prices around here!). So, I have had a no unecessary spending day too!
Hurrah :T
Tomorrow I need to go to the farm for veggies as I didn't get chance to go there today. (yes, I could have got them for less at Lidls, but I prioritise organic fruit and veg  )
Have a great weekend everyone, and James240, just do what you can - like I said, the AWARENESS is a great start. From little acorns and all that...........
Tomorrow we are signing up dd for swimming lessons. Technically it could be classed as an unecessary spend, but she doesn't do any extra curricular activities and has been on at me to learn swimming for months. I view swimming as a very necessary life skill. Hopefully though, I'll get a little help from Grandma's bank account
it's £33 for 13 weeks, which seems really good value?
Over and out as they say in the movies!

Glad you've had a good day Bigpaws!!:j
We're all doing well aren't we? And yes, swimming is a necessary skill so you're ok there:D
Have a good night chillin, I'll be doin the same in about half hour!
Speak tomorrow

I saw this thread the other day, and I would like to join in with this if that's ok?
I also posted two parcels today, from Amazon selling, and I spent £7 on food. So far, so good, I guess...!I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Went out last night for a meal with family, Mum paid for my meal and pud (ssssh don't tell the diet!!) and I bought drinks for Mum, me and my auntie, came to £7 so a cheap nite out
On the downside, although I had a snazzy new hair cut I felt V old and out of place being in the pub, it was quite a lively pub, lots of trendy people.... eek!! Least when I start work I may be able to afford the odd item of clothing here and there.
Have a good w/end all. I'm not planning on much today, yucky weather, dull and dismal. Hoping for a NSD today as don't have much left in my purse.
Thanks for all the encouragement and support.... lets keep this going "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi Taadaa - welcome and well done on your spends so far; it's good to have another person joining us
Glad you enjoyed your meal, Tigzem; I know what you mean about feeling 'old' - i feel like that when I go into a pub now. You know you're old when the policemen and teachers look young enough to be your children LOL!
Hope you enjoyed a Chill out evening, Chele.
off to register for swimming lessons in a mo.
have a great day everyone.

Hope everyone has a great day today
I had to post another Ebay parcel today, so that's 65p but they've already paid for it, so i'm counting it as a NSD today! Am at work tonight
