WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I'm at work this weekend and my boss called me yesterday and offered me a new job! It's at the same place (no first day nerves to worry about!) it's better hours, no weekends! And best of all it's more lovely money!
Beemuzed- at least your spend was for someone else!
Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone
sorry it's took so long to get back to you!!
Last night I was extra busy getting things ready for car boot sale - books, dvds, videos, ornaments/collectables, few clothes, cuddly toys!! When my friend turned up this morning we couldn't fit everything in her car so had to take mine along aswell!! Luckily the man was nice cos we told him we were together and just charged us the £7 for 1 stall and 50p for car parking!!:D
After a long morning in the bitter wind (even though the sun is shining!!) with things keep blowing off the stall and clothes blowing off the rails I managed to make £49.45 pure profit  Not bad, better than nothing but was hoping for double that and more stuff to sell. Think it was the biting wind putting people off - my face is now burning!!!!!
Oh well, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick I suppose:rotfl:
After a well earned rest I'm going to sort through whats left, put some to take to charity shop, (keep some), and put some ready to put on ebay:D
Apart from that a NSD today - even took own flask and food for this morning so wasn't tempted by doughnut van:T
How's everyone else doing? Sorry - just realised how long this post is:eek:

Hi All,
celebrations all around then - well done on your new job, Mappygirl and congrats on your fruitful morning at the cold carboot sale, Chele!
I'm going to get some stuff up on eBay too - groan. I just have to motivate myself as I know it will be well worth it.
I've had a NSD today - just a trip to the playing field this morning and no expenses!
Enjoy the rest of your weekends

Well done chele, might not have been what you were hoping for but it's more than you had yesterday, and got rid of some junk! I really must do a carboot, DH is getting very annoyed with the ever increasing 'stuff to sell' pile in the dinning room!

Cheletastic - you're so right about the wind! Still all the washing was dried in double quick time today, so not all bad!
Congrats about the new job Mappygirl!
Bigpaws, I've still not managed to have a go at selling on ebay, sure I'd just make a mess of it. One of these days I will tho' - must have something saleable here somewhere. Today I've spent nothing and hopefully tomorrow I'll not be going anywhere near a shop - that avoids the temptation. Tomorrow is "get the house back to a reasonable standard" day!Resolution:

Tomorrow is "get the house back to a reasonable standard" day!
I hear you!
That's my goal as well, but if the weather is as promised, I guess I will make the most of it and end up in the garden instead.
My face is a little glowing from the wind as well today; what a lovely feeling though and you should all go outside and take in a good lungfull of air before bed. The moon is up here and the air smells lovely - a real spring feel!
Jamiedodger, great to see another person taking up the challenge - I look forward to sharing your successes with you.
Tomorrow should be a NSD, I just need to get washing up liquid.
have a happy monday everyone!

Hi all been busy today congrats Mappygirl on your new job  and well done Chele on the bootsale :j
the bbq sauce was a success, even fussy OH was happywill post when computer isn't being stupid and slow
Well today I spent £30 on fuel, tank completely full...maybe a bit too full as needle still hasn't moved after an hour of driving it :rotfl: or is that just my fuel efficient drivingSeriously I think maybe I should NOT have filled it up that much, Im sure I read it wasn't a good idea somewhere, must not be so enthusiastic!!
Decamped to mums for dinner, was brothers birthday - pressie and card bought last month so no spend, and I recycled some wrapping paper that was in good condition!
Good news is lots of stuff sold on e bay tonight, made about £63 after fees, much more than I thought so I'm very pleased. Not so pleased I have been packing stuff for an hour and I'm still not done - but I thought is it worth £60 and the answer is of course it is!!!
Have a great no spend day tomorrow checking in again tomorrow eve xI have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off
