Hi all - had my interview today and a friend offered to take me so I saved money on petrol/parking. So a NSD for me today :T :T :T
Waiting to hear about the job now, hopefully they'll say yes, they seemed impressed and pleased. I really like the office and think would be great to work there. Only downfall is, it's in the middle of a lovely market town. So I'll have to be very strict with myself, packed lunches, no money or cards on me. And there is a lovely bakery there too. Will def test my DFW ways!!!
Hope everyone is ok and doing well x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi all hope your day is going well!
I spent £1.55 on a train fare to get my son to my sisters to look after - cheaper than the petrol to get there, and I already had a monthly ticket
Gave sister £30 to look after him for two days - holiday club is £20 a day plus petrol to get there and back
Walked to work from sisters, saving £2 on bus fare (an outrageous amount to pay for a 15 min journey!!)
Sold hair straighteners to someone at work for a tenner
Sent off some e bay stuff, cost £8.70.
Sold a CD on Amazon, accepted a bet offer on e bay, and sold a buy it now on e bay, total £7.70. So feeling quite smug
And thats it! No spending tonight for me. Quite an expensive day, but all necessary!
About to flog more stuff on e bay....there will be nothing left soon :rotfl:I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off
