Are cough/sore throat sweet classed as unnecessary? I've woken up with a cold and sore throat.... feeling sorry for myself, surely a creme egg is ok today :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh and tissues... but they are necessary!!!:rotfl:

Oh, I hope you are feeling better soon, Tigzem.
Now, you could put the juice of a lemon and some honey into some boiling water and sip it when cool to save money on those throat sweets :D

Not sure about the tissues, but my dh complains that I re-use my tissues about 10 times and he is very nervous of putting his hands in my pockets for fear of what he will find in there :rotfl:

hope dd enjoys herself and you feel better.

And come on Jo - jump in; if I can get through an Easter break with kiddy in tow, then so can you :o

Well I found out that I've got a new job starting on sunday (just for the holidays) so pleased about that. Maybe I'll be able to get out of my overdraft sometime in the near future! The only annoying thing is that I've got 3 dvds on Ebay and they all have 0 bids :(

When is the time up on them?? People might be waiting until the end before they bid:rolleyes:

You know the problem is probably caused by all of the people like us who've given up un-necessary spending

well done on the job, Nicola! It would be great if you could sort your debts out earlier :j

Have you checked to see recently listed items to see if your dvds are ones that sell anyway? And do you have anyone watching your auctions?
I usually find that books, cds and dvds sell better on Amazon.

it's also worth joining http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sales_swaps_and_freebies/?yguid=222424287 there are only 123 or so members, but you can put links to your ebay auctions or sell direct - it's quite successful on there sometimes ;)

Well done on your NSD Chele! yay for us :T

Hi all, had a good day with DD, we went to visit a c/minder, she had a play with a 2yr old boy, then we walked to Morrisons for a top up shop and I was VERY good.... apart from...... a pack of Tiramisu Doughnuts but they were only 59p, so I don't feel too bad..... but I do feel bad..... so that's a total unnecessary spend in 2 days of £1.19. I'm not V good at this am I???

Tomorrow will be better, will have a NSD as having a morning in then round a friend's in the afternoon.

Thanks for all the get well wishes, I feel ok just snuffly x
