Hi All
Just want to extend a warm welcome to Mappygirl & Tigzem
Also, well done Bigpaws :A , I'm very impressed -and very pleased I don't have to tell you off today (Too much work for a Sunday!!!):rotfl:
I went round to my friends last night for a free night - I didn't drink so I could drive and not pay for taxi. Anyway, the other three wanted to go for a drink so I drove us all to the pub, however, I stuck to soda water all night cos it's free!! So had a fab night out and didn't spend a penny :j
Today will be a No Spend Day for me cos I'm staying in relaxing and might even do some knitting later for a friend which'll make me a bit of money to add to the cause :T
Keep up the good work everyoneOfficial DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Me again!!
Forgot to say, sold a designer dress and gave some clothes to a friend a couple of weeks ago and she brought the money round last night -
so got £60 for the dress & she gave me a £20 New Look voucher for the clothes I gave her (which I wasn't expecting)- so as well as saving money, I'm making money!! Yay :j :j
Good luck Nicola and well done on another NSD:D
I'm in total agreement with everyone about chocs n magazines - the expensive ones are my favourites!!! Keeping away from magazine aisles is very difficult - especially in Tesco's when they are there as soon as you walk in the door:rolleyes:Official DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
That's even better that you're saving and earning!
and yes, when I walk into Sainsburys, the magazines, dvds and cds are the first things you see!

Hi all,
gosh you've been chatty today!
Nicola - well done on today. i've just decided to put a few things on eBay, so I am going to turn around my desire to spend with a desire to earn instead LOL! You've done really well with your two days in a row without spending and your tips! Yay! :T
I've had a weekend of no spending as well. That's not too difficult as we try not to use the car over the weekend and as we live in the country there is nowhere to walk to temptation!
You've done brilliantly, Chele - going out last night and STILL not spending anything; that is *very* cool. I'm inspired. And now you've sold some stuff too - way to go!
I'm not a choccie fan, but I do like magazines! My mum saves her Sunday magazine for me and anything else she buys, so I'm not too bad.
I shop in Lidls where they don't have magazines, but I top up my shopping in the Co-Op where they have EVERYTHING, so I just walk past them and read things on the internet instead!! Trouble with magazines is you then see things you want to buy..........
How was your day Tigzem and Mappygirl?
I keep thinking I've forgtten someone - apologies if I have; please don't take it personally. I hope you all had a good day.

Hi everyone
Just wondered how you were all doing on this lovely day?
It's another No Spend Day for me:j
Have brought my lunch into work and am staying in with OH tonight:D
Even managed a quick walk around the shops this lunch time without feeling any temptation :A
Keep up the good work everyone, make sure you just stick to selling on Ebay Bigpaws, don't get tempted to go on the buying side!!:rotfl:
