Thanks for that Oops:D and good luck with sticking to your budget.
It's gonna be a challenge, but worth it I reckon!!:jOfficial DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Good Luck! I'm sure you'll succeed as you sound very determined. I may think hard over this weekend and decide if I couldn't join you too - payday is on Monday! I guess I'd need to review the month ahead, work out exactly what's ahead apart from usual necessities (eg extras like nephew's birthday etc - can't cut him out!) and then decide to spend nothing else. Would that do it?Resolution:

This should last the two of us for the week with the things we already have in the house, so quite pleased with myself:D
Won't be spending anything else today as apart from cleaning the house am going to my friend's tonight so will be free night out. :T

Well done everyone and I hope you join in, Bemused.
Your Tescos trip was very successful, Chele. :T
I'm not going to go out today, or tomorrow, so I can't spend anything!
(well, providing I stay away from the dreaded eBay  )
Good luck all!
Now I need to figure out how to put a funky signature line in like Chele has.......

Hi Bigpaws
Just go into User CP at top of the page & then into Edit Signature;)
Hope you keep away from Ebay - it's hard work isn't it?:rotfl:Official DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Hi guys! Could I jump on the bandwagon too

My only uneccessary spending is purely attributed to ebay - the curse that it is ebay should i say - I spent £500 last month
- so I have decided that April is a total ebay no go area. I shall be avoiding it like a plague.
Its half-term next week and with my Daughter off school and a break to be had (we are spending 4 days in Liverpool staying at a YHA), I am still trying to keep the spending in check during this period.
p.s I quit smoking over a year ago and I think I have fooled myself into believing that the 'spare' £130 a month I now had to play with could be spent on anything I wanted, but no-more I say!DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0
