  • Afternoon All
Well its a vaguely sunny and blustery day up here, so lots of washing out, which always makes me feel happy:o (theres definately a lot of my gran in me, she used to love watching washing blowing).
Went to L!dl yesterday to get a few extras and spent £38 so just updated my siggie. Mince is cooking for bolognese and I've just used up the last of the cooked ham in ham, cheese and chive pastries (most of which have vanished minutes after they came out the oven by OH and the mancub), also made some shortcrust pastry to make a quiche later as lots of eggs to use up.
Hope everyone is having a good day wherever you are x

  • Hi all

After going a whopping £1.51 over budget last month, I'm going for £150 again for August please - this includes 1 week's self catered holiday for me and DS.

Thanks to all who run and contribute to this thread - you're life savers :-)

I haven't done this in quite a while now, but have started recording my grocery spending again and want to get back into it. Can I please be put down for £180?

This is to cover all food and shared household items for me and OH, so for instance cleaning stuff is included but not things like toiletries where we use separate things so each get our own.

ETA I have already done a giant online shop to start the month and have been to the local SM as well, so have spent £113.58 so far. However that's the bulk of it and as usual I now only have to get topups of fruit and veg, milk etc. There's tins of tomatoes under me bed now!

Hmm. Groceries are coming out of my wage but as I work weekends OH has been buying the bread that was needed (you buy one loaf it disappears within the day, ut two and you are left with loads going stale!) I think he bought a pile of sweets on offer for him too

Soooooo.....do I count these purchases? Or ignore them?
