I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
I did once use plain for it, but it doesn't come out quite right imo. I wouldn't use sr flour, as you're using yeast!

Thanks PennyGrabber. It's a shame as i have loads of plain flour to use.
    Oh well. :)
  • Well, I'm going to be over .... started fat club this week and OMG I can't believe how expensive some fruits & veg are.

I have Crohn's disease so don't generally eat huge quantities of these and unfortunately the ones I can eat seem to be the expensive ones:eek:

    Will report back later......

  • Spent £48 in A!di yesterday - I nearly forgot to give them my £5 voucher  after going there specifically to use it. Luckily I remembered before I walked away from the till and the lady took pity on me and gave me the £5 in cash :D.

NickJW - I think you asked which out of Lid! and A!di is cheapest - I think they're about the same overall, when you average the shopping bill out. Either is cheaper than the main supermarkets though.

Hi everyone, just a spend of £4.14 today 48 pack of co-op wheat biscuits and soya milk for my daughter.

I was going to check my bank account before i went in but didn't because there was a queue, so used my last bit of change to get just what i needed with 18p left, i checked my bank after only to find out i've been paid, i wanted to but i felt to silly to go back in so that's good really although i did want some chocolate.

First shop of the month £47.22!

Filled the stocks a bit, bought some Tinned Tuna on role back, and took advantage of multiple purchases (Curry Sauce (enough to last two months), Orange Squash, rice etc) I also got some YS ready meals for OH and froze them, he will often get one on a weekend for lunch.

Right now it is difficult trying to build up a stock cupboard as I've been unemployed, but I've just started my new job ! Had a great first shift! So I am going to put money aside from my first pay cheque to help reduce our overall spendature. Buying more in bulk to reduce costs etc

Currently meal planning ! and will post later :) I also might post up my weekly shop and see if anyone has any ideas how I might reduce??

    Thanks

    Sarah :)
