Ooooh completely forgot! I did go for toad in the hole and it turned out quite well! I even took a picture as I was so proud and DH said to thank you guys as he was very impressed! lol!

Glad to hear it went well. I told you it wasn't that difficult really.
And honestly nor is roast chicken!! When I finally got up the courage to try it, and ate the results I decided that although it takes a while to cook, it's actually not that tricky to do and so now I make sure I do a roast chicken at least every month (and use leftovers for other meals/sandwiches etc).
Now I try and do a couple of new recipes a month - on an evening/day when I know I don't have much on and won't be too stressed.
