    Ooooh completely forgot! I did go for toad in the hole and it turned out quite well! I even took a picture as I was so proud and DH said to thank you guys as he was very impressed! lol!

    Check it out! Little bit burnt though... also didn't realise that the flour I used was BBE Oct 06 til after! oops! Still alive to tell the tale though! Was very yummy too!

    Glad to hear it went well. I told you it wasn't that difficult really. ;)

    And honestly nor is roast chicken!! When I finally got up the courage to try it, and ate the results I decided that although it takes a while to cook, it's actually not that tricky to do and so now I make sure I do a roast chicken at least every month (and use leftovers for other meals/sandwiches etc).

    Now I try and do a couple of new recipes a month - on an evening/day when I know I don't have much on and won't be too stressed. :D

    Madmum.. I read something about weevils in out of date flour.. don't ask me what the hell weevils are though... got images in my head of weird looking womble things!

    Just throw the bag of flour away and don't look in it! ;)

    I got into the habit of looking closely at all flour before using, just in case.
