Perfectly normal, the other 104mb is been used for graphics, as laptop do not have dedicated graphics memory and borow from main system.

The 'missing' memory is the memory used for the graphics chip....it shares the DDR2 ram! Nothing to worry about :)

Edit: Oops missed the above post!

    Vista should be fine :)

Does anyone know whether the Dell 6400 with Intel T2060 processor is compatible with 64bit operating systems or not?? I can't seem to find a categorical answer from searching the web.
Also is Vista home Basic available in 64bit?
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

    Oh yes there is.
It is on the dell home page when you click on the 6400 and it is more expensive and has less GB on the hard drive.

Anyway thanks to you I was able to order through quidco the one witout the a.
It will be a bonus if it tracks.

You guys on here are stars.
