I ordered 2 of these Monday night at 8.30pm and had a phonecall today to say delivery will be Friday between 8am and 6pm (when ordered was emailed a delivery date of 3/04/07 (next Tuesday) or before, so very impressed)

Have just checked on the dell order status page and they have gone through production etc but are also now saying despatched. So do you think its possible maybe that i could even get them tomorrow?

Ive not had anything to do with Dell before and although some have had bad service, the speed of this is great so far.

I doubt it, mine were 'dispatched' Monday, but then on Tuesday morning it changed to 27th dispatch and I had a call saying Thursday delivery between 8 and 12.

Mine arrived this morning. I put one on DD1's bed as a nice surprise for her -or so I thought. She came home at 2pm and still hasn't looked at it...she says she's too busy- ungrateful or what! I feel like taking it back, she can go without!

Poor you. You must have been so excited and thought she was going to be over the moon with it ( mine would have been) and shes not even looked at it. :eek:

Well im sorry to say but it would be going back or being sold on. Even if she is genuinely busy (studying, exams or whatever, not just out with friends or something unimportant) then she could at least make an effort for your benefit and show some appreciation.

If/when she does get around to looking at it, make sure its hidden up so then she has to ask where it is. Then say to her 'well if youre too busy to take time to even look at it then i knew you would be too busy to actually use it so have found another home for it'. If she plays up and genuinely wants to keep it then go fish it out from the hiding place and say 'well this was its new home' (that way you havent actually lied to her but just taught her a lesson).
