No... the t2050 is roughly equivlent to the turion tl50 x2 in terms of actual performance, even though as you said the t2050 costs more.

I went thought Quidco and then put in the link to the 1501 but it doesnt seem to have tracked it ! I just bought 2 of the 1501 is there anything I can do ?

Also how much should it be to have an upgrade from Vista Basic to Preminum ?

I have just rang Dell and they have said they want to cancell my order and some from Sales will ring me in order to add on Vista Home Priminum and they will ring me back within 2 hrs...I seem to remember reading on here that they wernt good at ringing people back !

They also said it wud be £30 for each computer upgrade...didnt say if this included a disc or not....should it include disc?

Finally just ordered mine by calling them to upgrade to vista premium and the 6 cell battery for £363.08. You wouldn't believe how many times i tried putting in the order, how many times numerous sales person tried to use sly tactics to up the price. The best lie i got out of them was that they couldn't change the warrenty to 90 days collect and return because of a system change and i had to have the 1yr warrenty and all those peeps that ordered online the orders would not process!!!

The sales person i spoke to and the one that finally got my order through said that TODAY is the last day, so people that haven't already ordered than TODAY is your FINAL chance! (but then again maybe another lie!)

Just rang Dell sales but they wouldnt help update to Vista Preminum either. They said they couldnt to anything until the original order is cancelled and they will ring me...I hope they do especially if 2day is the last day !

Do NOT trust that they will call you back. Get the person's name, get them to spell it because it's sometimes difficult to understand. Take that time of your call and what number you called from, just in case they want to trace it. However - not many companies will go to the trouble of tracing a call in the event of a dispute.

For anyone you has any problems, I emailed and got a response that way plus £50 off.
