Think it needed saying twice! Feel a bit sorry for OP really, all that grief for leaving the window open?

Can you imagine how she reacts if he forgets something from the shops?

Make that 3, I think I said it around page 2 - and I'm sure there have been others!! :p

I'd be surprised if he was trusted to go to the shops;)

    He's not :o
One example of her being un-reasonable, I was in the house aloneon sunday while she was at work, I noticed there wasn't much in the fridge and saw a few things I thought we would run out of before she went shopping today. So I popped down to Sainsburys and bought around ten quids worth of shopping. She had a big go at me over this saying I'm risking other food going off and that we can't be wasting money like this when we need to be saving every penny towards the wedding and moving house..... My big problem with this statement is that she didn't seem overly bothered about wasting money when I spent £150 taking her out for a posh dinner for her birthday two weeks ago, or me putting £200 towards her getting an Iphone4S, but me spending £10 at the shop on food is too much??????

Is it really necessary to repeatedly dissect the OP's posting history?

I am female and I always forget to put the bins out. Even when asked to. If oh is away (frequently) they just dont get done or our kind neighbour takes them.

oh never gets angry he just does it himself.

Op, if anyone (even my parents) texted me in that tone I'd not dignify it with a response. I think oh would assume I was joking!

I think previous posts give a better insight into the whole story. I'm very much of the opinion that the OP has been treated harshly by his new wife. His past posts, particularly on the thread quoted make me more certain of that.

It does sound odd. What does he see in her? Does he enjoy being told what to do? Does he believe that she has the secret formula to his desired life? Is she exceptionally gorgeous and satisfying?

Just out of interest, are any of the people on this thread who have referred to 'OCD' actually talking about someone with a medical diagnosis?

I always thought RESPECT was a two way Street, its pretty much how it has always been between the Mrs & I. I certainly would have no qualms in reminding her that you have to give RESPECT to earn RESPECT. I have no doubt she would remind me likewise if I thought I could just demand it.

You could nail your windows shut, but its not going to stop a brick, then the question should be, who would be stupid enough to think leaving their rings on full display of the windowsill would make them safe, so long as it was shut. ;)

I know! I get so OCD about people who make up a diagnosis!
I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!
