I need to know what you do for a living! I want a job like that, I too am inherently lazy "Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

To be blunt, your wife sounds like a controlling, mad b-itch of the type who'll end up putting a bunny in the pot if you don't do what she says...and I have a feeling that you'll be repenting this marriage at your leisure mate.
Re the wallet thing that people are calling you irresponsible about; now personally if I were your wife within clear sight of our breakfast table when I saw my husband stand up and leave his wallet on it...I'd term it a case of being bleeding obvious that I'd be keeping an eye on it whilst he got his food! Christ almighty...is she the sort of person who also needs 'This product contains nuts' printed on a packet of Cashews?
Exactly.
As to the bins, I've forgot them as well. So's she. So we just take a few bags of rubbish to the tip when we're passing. It's not hard to work out what to do. (Actually, I didn't bring them in this week either, they where on the drive when she came home, and she coudn't get the car on. She moved them, then drove on and parked. What's worse, is I actually had to walk past them to get in. I park on the road)0 -
Jeez it's a standing joke in my house that with my H stuff goes in one ear and out the other. Does it nark me.....yes....do I need to resort to a whining mare......no. What the heck does she keep banging in about respect? She sounds the sort who isn't satisfied with an apology.....she requires a pound of flesh too.
Run away......fast OP :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

 OP I cant believe you sat back and took that abuse via text-we all fly off the handle sometimes but you give as good as you get.
Stand up for yourself next time and give it back(verbally), might make her think twice about demeaning you by talking to you like an imbecile.
My husband and I often have very similar arguments but I can assure you when I am wiping the floor with him for whatever reason I get it back full throttle-thats because we are equals and the power balance is equal.
He certainly doesnt simper at my feet professing he loves me and grovelling apologies.
If she is prepared to give it she should take it back IMO0 -

I recognise that phrase as well.
A hint to me is her telling me directly she wants something doing, but without a time or date. She knows I don't take hints. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I do wonder if the OP's wife isn't so much sat in her ivory tower of "no mistake land" but actually has it shoved up her rear end!!!
I cannot believe she is so intolerant of people making mistakes. It happens, humans are falliable - get used to it!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

!!!!!! did you marry her for? she sounds like a nightmare...Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Think it needed saying twice! Feel a bit sorry for OP really, all that grief for leaving the window open?
Can you imagine how she reacts if he forgets something from the shops?:eek:0
