I've just been scanning my last 3 year's accounts ( teh previous 3 are in a loft somewhere) and was staggered to discover that I've paid out the following:
892 UKP - unpaid fees ( on one occasion 175 for 4 items that hit at once)
332 UKP - unarranged borrowing ( 90 UKP in one month!)
330 UKP - referral fees
I am now looking to claim as much of this as possible but would like to know if I can claim for the unarranged borrowing fee - which appears to be charging me twice for being overdrawn - and what on earth the referral fees are?
Will appreciate any advice!

If you go over your overdraft limit then additional interest is calculated on the excess. If you went over your limit as a result of penalty charges then you can reclaim that extra interest as well as the penalty charge.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0 -

Hi,
I'm in the process of trying to reclaim charges from various banks.
All have now sent me list of charges since 2000 but I'm not entirely sure what constitutes a default charges.
Lloyds in particular have sent statements with the following charges shown throughout the last 6 years.
Unpaid Direct Debit Charges
Unpaid Standing Order Charges
Overdraft Excess Fees
The above, I guess, are fairly obviously default changes are they relate to fees incurred due to bounced dd’s and so’s.
The two below I’m unsure on, can anyone advise?
Overdraft Interest Fees
Overdraft Usage Fees
