!!!!!!?? why should he need 'permission' from his wife to go on a stag do? LOL!
Because stag do's especially the one abroad are usually quite debauch and anything can happen and you wouldn't be any the wiser, I wouldn't be overly happy if i was the wife either but then again you are meant to trust your OH to behave, it would be difficult to though given the whole stag do thing.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -
If your ring is in danger of falling off because you've had a drink then it's the wrong size...get it resized so that it fits correctly and you can enjoy the stag do hijinks without fear of losing it.
I'm not sure many people would believe your excuse for wanting to leave it behind is a genuine one!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
, your adults after all not, kids.
They're men on a stag do, they're worse than kids
OP, if you're not taking anything valuable, no nice new clothes, no expensive watches, cameras etc,. then it is plausible, but if I were your wife I would be happier if you went to Argos and got a cheapo for £20 rather than go with nothing.
Let's face it, if you were leaving it off because you were intending to get up to no good surely you wouldn't tell her in the first place, you'd just take it off as soon as you got on the plane. And TBH, some of the girls you're likely to encounter in Benidorm wouldn't give two hoots as to whether you're wearing a wedding ring or not, so it's a moot point really.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Following your logic, a cheap ring would be the answer. If you don't do that, then don't waste any more of her life or have any children with her.0

Not married yet - got that to come next year - but I think I'd be incredibly hurt. The ring could be lost anywhere, any time - should it never be worn?
I trust my fiance - I know he's been on stag dos before where some of the other (married) men in his party went off and paid for sex. Despite knowing that's not him, and knowing I'm safe from him sleeping around, I'd be hurt that he might consider that the ring stops him having fun in some way. I guess I would start doubting that trust, though at least I'd be grateful I was told. After all, any man could just slip off the ring and hide it before he left.0 -

So refusing them persmission will ensure they keep it in their pants forever.

I would be highly highly suspicious if my husband said he was going to do this. It's not the not-wearing a ring thing, it's not the abroad thing - it's that, combined with stag dos and the associated mass of testosterone (and fact that braincells tend to vanish off on their own holiday in these situations).Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
