I've heard ryanair are going to insist all passengers have a wee before they board the aircraft so they weigh less and therefore they need less fuel and then they can convert the onboard toilets to starbucks.

It's possible that given the username of the OP, it could be an internal source. With regards to the handbag comment, who is to say they won't charge for handbags also?0

I heard yesterday on 5 live that it was Jet2 that were going to bring the charge in in November. If your bag fits under the seat you can take it on free of charge but you will be charged if it has to go in the overhead lockers0

Some US airlines already do this, with different costs for different bag sizes. I think it is a good idea, the size of luggage that people (including myself!) get away with is ridiculous.0 -
