There is no logical reason why the presence of an admin fee therefore means they will start charging for hand luggage soon...

    Never said it did.

What I said was it is only a matter of time before they start charging for hand luggage.
The precedent being set by WizzAir.
One does it, they all do it.

You didn't use the word logical no, but you specifically connected the card charge to the baggage charge.

If the precedent is now WizzAir, I see your point. Though we'll have to wait and see how it works out (and Wizz! don't charge for all hand luggage anyway - the bag I normally take for example could just about fit into their free category).

They`ve already reneged on their loyal customers who forked out for the Ryanair prepaid card to avoid charges, sooner or later O`Leary will charge for hand luggage.

    Watch this space.

They were forced to by law. Not that Ryanair really have "loyal" customers... I use them when they are cheapest - that is it. If another airline beats them by a penny (and is as convenient) then I'll go with them. I'd be shocked if the vast majority of others (even those with Cash Passports) didn't do the same.
