Ryanair to charge for all luggage

You didn't use the word logical no, but you specifically connected the card charge to the baggage charge.
If the precedent is now WizzAir, I see your point. Though we'll have to wait and see how it works out (and Wizz! don't charge for all hand luggage anyway - the bag I normally take for example could just about fit into their free category).0 -

They`ve already reneged on their loyal customers who forked out for the Ryanair prepaid card to avoid charges, sooner or later O`Leary will charge for hand luggage.

They were forced to by law. Not that Ryanair really have "loyal" customers... I use them when they are cheapest - that is it. If another airline beats them by a penny (and is as convenient) then I'll go with them. I'd be shocked if the vast majority of others (even those with Cash Passports) didn't do the same.0
