A Japanese woman from Fukuoka is trying to sue Google for showing her underwear on Street View.
The woman, who has not been named, is reported to be after 600,000 yen (£4,588) from Google, after claiming she suffered psychological distress as a result of her washing line being featured on the Street View function.
According to Japan's Mainichi newspaper, the woman told a court hearing, that she was frightened that she would become the victim of sex crime after Google showed her knickers drying outside.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I hide them on the inner bits of a rotary clothesline... most of them are an embarassment not fit to be seen in public.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

when my late MIL moved to a rural village in the mid 50's she was frowned on for doing this. When I moved there in the late 70's it still felt 'wrong'Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

I wasn't allowed to play outside on a Sunday. I never saw any women wear trousers. Some people wouldn't allow the TV on on a Sunday (not us, I used to love That's Life), but the strictest Brethren wouldn't have a TV in their house. Never ever saw any washing out on a Sunday. Beds were made, dinner was cooked and washing up done and that was the only housework done on a Sunday.
This was in the 70s, but it still isn't unusual in some places.0 -
I hang mine on the rotary line hidden in between longer items!0

I do, although at my ex's I wouldn't because he had a pervy neighbour who on more than one occasion was caught checking out the label on my bras and at one point even had the cheek to call over the fence and tell me he knew my "puppies" were big but hadn't realised how big and he'd love to see them sometime. I ignored it and stopped hanging bras out and then a few thongs went missing. Safe to say I had words with him and made it clear if they went missing again I would have no choice but to call the police and he stopped stealing them. But I stopped putting them out if I could help it after that because I caught him still looking at them over the fence.
The lines are rotating ones and hidden away where I live now and now the only comments I get about my undies is the occasional "ooo fancy" (looks ann summers - actually cost me £6 for the set in primark :P) and at one point one of the men saying he hoped I didn't think it was cheeky but he'd noticed my underwear on the line and that I had good taste (all while he blushed) and could I recommend any online sites he could order some bits like that for his misses because she loves stuff like that and he wanted to surprise her for her birthday. I took his email address and emailed him a few links and a few weeks later spotted a few new lacey sets being hung out by her and got a little thank you note from him under my door. Apparently she loved themxx

this is hilarious!
I do, because it's weird not to if the weather's nice and they take forever to dry (well the bras do) indoors! I even hang out the Ann Summers stuff! Let 'em talk! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
I do but I must admit I hang them near the centre of my airer with a t-shirt then further put blocking the view!0
